[h3][b]Backstory/Motivations[/b][/h3]
[indent]Kaede is the granddaughter of the brilliant scientist Dr. Kenji Kuwagata, known for his advances in the field of robotics. Dr. Kuwagata had been working on a new series of prototype power armor for rescue workers, capable of self-repair and great feats of strength. One day, Kaede returned home from school to find the house empty. She didn't think much of it, assuming he had gone to some sort of goverment conference or to speak at some big university- Kaede never kept up too much with her grandfather's goings-on, being more concerned with the boxing club- but as the week wore on, she began to worry. He wasn't returning his calls, and the police acted like they didn't know who Kaede was talking about.

The next day, Kaede stumbled across her grandfather's secret lab, hidden beneath the old man's workshop. There, she discovered the truth: Her grandfather had been kidnapped by the villainous conspiracy organization, the Zodiac Group! Furious that her grandfather would be forced to make weapons for criminals, Kaede retrieved the remaining prototype the doctor had hidden away- the first generation mecha, Great Taurus. Leaving a note not to look for her, Kaede left to find the men who stole her grandfather and bring him back, even if it takes her whole life to do it.[/indent]

[h3][b]Fighting-Style[/b][/h3]
[indent]Kaede is a lightweight amateur boxer of some skill with an infighting focus. Her mecha, Great Taurus, is practically indestructible and just as strong as its namesake implies. The elbows of the machine contain boosters for extra power, and the heatsinks can be rerouted Great Taurus' hands to create fists that burn like justice. Finally, Great Taurus gives its pilot a measure of superhuman strength when active, allowing them to land blows on-par with the machine itself. [/indent]

[indent] A stinger-like move where Great Taurus blasts through defenses with a rocket-propelled straight. [/indent][/indent]

[indent] A counter move where Great Taurus pulls the opponent into a clinch. Kaede follows up with a series of punches to the opponent's exposed head. [/indent][/indent]

[indent] Pistons in Great Taurus' forearms cause the fists to extend outward suddenly before retracting again, catching a foe off-guard with a sudden increase in reach. [/indent][/indent]

[indent] A red-hot combination that beats down the opponent's defense with perfectly-placed pugilism. [/indent][/indent]

[indent]■ Big Bang
[indent] Great Taurus rockets towards the opponent and lays them out with a lightning-fast, white-hot, all-out spinning hook. Incredibly strong, but has no way to account for a miss, so it should to be used carefully. [/indent][/indent]

[indent]■ Big Crunch
[indent] Great Taurus diverts all reactor heat to one hand, then grabs its opponent by the face and clamps down with spectacular force. Has a hell of a windup, but it's terrifying. [/indent][/indent]

[indent]■ Great Stampede
[indent] Great Taurus ejects all nonessential parts, leaving only the undersuit and reactor. This results in unmatched speed, but the ejected parts must be recalled within 30 seconds or the reactor will overheat. [/indent][/indent]

[h3][b]Weaknesses[/b][/h3]
[indent]Having not been originally designed for combat, Great Taurus' pilot is completely exposed. This is an issue, because while Great Taurus may be nigh-indestructible, Kaede is significantly less so. Being a boxer, Kaede also obviously has no means to hit a foe at a distance.[/indent]
