[@LiegeLord] Campers all around her began to rise from their seats and cluster together, converse among themselves and generally steal a few moments until the counselors lead the hike into the woods. Cecilia rose as well, taking advantage of the opportunity to take careful steps through the crowd, her mind racing, making a clear recitation of what she will say difficult. When she saw James, her pace slowed, leading to a full stop around four feet away from him. "H-hey James..." she tentatively greeted. She appeared preoccupied, worried about something. "Um, I just wanted to say I'm well... I'm sorry for leaving all of a sudden earlier. I..." She shook her head passively, her eyes downcast for a second. "It wasn't fair to you." She felt compelled to say more, although there was a lightness in her head and a redness in her cheeks as she did so. "You and Neric are... two of the most amazing people I've ever seen and I didn't think, for a second, that [i]anyone[/i] would fail to see that... But for what it's worth, I'm glad you made it here." Cecilia stopped there, only hoping the meaning came through. It may not have been everything she would like to say, but it may do for now.
