Hair: Silvery-white Eyes: Caramel-brown Skin: He has smooth, solid muscles. His complexion is a deep tan to brown and his hands are large and rough with callouses and constant use. Handedness: Ambidextrous. Scars: He has faint scars from his earlier years spent training and sparring students from the other schools. They appear to be blade-like in nature, slanting across his stomach, arms and chest. Tattoos: A small black tattoo of a turtle is on the back of his neck right beneath the nape, and wavy, blade-like tattoos descend his right arm. Basic Description: Fang, obviously enough, is a large man. The Gon blood is strong with this one, so much that it is difficult for him to hide in a crowd. He often wears loose black robes with a hood that he always keeps drawn over his head. The sleeves are long enough to surpass the length of his hands and hide his Tortoise Gauntlets. His hair is stark-white and eyes a gentle honey. Likes: Delicious food, a challenge, training and improving his techniques, a good match, making good friends, and his baby sister, Chenguang Yin. Dislikes: Practitioners of dark chi, cowards, treachery, anyone who dare lays a hand on his sister, speaks ill of The Iron Tortoise School and Sifu Zhi Ming. Goals: To rid the world of dark chi and find his wandering master Zhi Ming. Fears: Any harm or ill will coming to his sister, Chenguang Yin. Mannerisms: Master Zhi Ming once told Fang that his strength has gone to his head and that he has become arrogant and overconfident. Fang believes his arrogance to just be confidence and fearlessness. There is no battle too great. He always feels that no matter what, he will find a way to come out on top. It might have been foolish thinking, but the mindset made him a very formidable opponent. Fang loves good food and drink - fuel for the body and soul as he always likes to say. He is one of those never give up and never surrender types who will dive into a challenge headfirst even if he doesn't know the rules of the game. He is too much of a sore loser to admit defeat. Zhi Ming tried to beat those character flaws out of him, but Fang always proved to be too hard-headed. Maybe he is stronger than he gives him credit for? The Iron Tortoise always gets excited at the opportunity to use his fists, but will falter easily at the scolding of his sister. Gee, what a teddy bear. Psychological Condition: (Current) Nightmares, insomnia, hallucinations, and bouts of spontaneous aggression. Superstition: Who knows where he got this belief, but Fang believes that ghosts don't like Bok Choy and that Bok Choy is the best ward to use against them. He also believes that ginseng cures everything! Social Pressures/Problems: Fang is a little slow to realize when a female is interested in him. He has basically spent his entire life sheltered in the mountains and studying Iron Tortoise Martial Arts. Who had time for dating? When a female shows him interest, he has no idea what to do or how to even react for that matter. Parents: Father - Unknown/ Mother, Fei Yin, passed on. Sibling: Chenguang Yin (Baby Sister) - he takes care of her now. Chenguang sought out Fang to tell him the news about their mother's passing. She blames him for having left her alone to pursue his dream. If he had stayed to help her take care of Fei, then maybe she would still be alive. He walked away just like father had. Chenguang is actually a Lyn and not a Gon. Fei Yin adopted her when she found her abandoned in a basket in the snow. Chenguang has since grown up in the Gon family not at all feeling alienated due to size difference and being of a different race. The Yin family treated her like blood. Rivals: His Master, open to more rivals. Enemies: Dark chi users, specifically, Sorcerer Guozhi Han. Tortoise Gauntlets: The tortoise gauntlets are large gauntlets that protect Fang's hands up to his elbows. They are the amalgamation of two types of steel and are a gift given to the top pupils of The Iron Tortoise School. Similarly, the gauntlets come with shin and feet guards. They are the perfect decorations for already powerful fists (at least that's what Fang would say). Fisherman: Whether ice fishing or normal fishing, Fang knows how to not only catch fish but he also knows how to catch crabs and other shellfish. He knows how to prepare fishing rods, nets, cages, and bait for catching such creatures. Heavy-lifter: No manual labor is too difficult! Fang can work like a mule. He might be the best person to designate carrying all the travel bags and equipment. Arctic Survivalist: He was born, raised, and trained in The North his whole life. The Iron Tortoise School is nestled in the harshest and coldest landscape to strengthen the minds and bodies of the students. You ever wonder what Hell feels like froze over? Visit the school in the winter. Invigorate: While all martial artists are inhumanly strong, the Kung Fu Masters being the masters of chi take strength to a whole new level. By charging their bodies with chi to strengthen not only their bodies but their minds, they become living and breathing wrecking balls. The body can only contain so much chi before it starts to strain, thus it is important that the Kung Fu Master always trains to condition their bodies to handle more and more. They can do so through meditation and pushing themselves to the limit. When invigorated, Fang has the strength to topple a siege tower. Fissure: With an earth-shattering fist, Fang can cause the earth to fissure to hinder the enemies' approach. Enemies risk falling into the fissure, and thus can face a drop in morale. Crater: Fang’s fists and every stomp create craters. He will use craters to throw the enemy’s balance and follow through with a vicious strike. Machine Gun Fist/Kick: Fang can punch and kick so fast that his fists and legs become a blur. Whoever is on the other end may not have a face left. Exploding Fist: Fang will charge his fist full of chi and release it in the form of a punch containing enough force to cripple the armor of an armored opponent. Indomitable Will: His mind is also his strength. He doesn’t let anyone or anything get in his way and stop him from reaching his goals. His mind is very difficult to break. Not even Zhi Ming could change his mind. As long as there is still hope, then Fang will keep on fighting the good fight. Iron Might: “It’ll take more than that to take me down!” Fang's body is tough, making even the sharpest of blades feel like a knife trying to cut through a tough steak. He can contract his muscles to raise their defense that most objects will be deflected by them. But that's not all, in combination with his Indomitable Will, Fang can endure long battles and lengthy periods of hardship. Iron Limbs: Fang's body had to endure years of punishment to bring him to the level where he currently is. He abused it so much once that he feared his career as a Kung Fu Master in training was over. Zhi Ming taught him that "It's never over until it's over." If he wanted his career to end, then he just had to believe it would and quit. But as long as he's alive and breathing, well, his fists will always find a home in someone's face. Well, he didn't exactly say those words, but they sound so much more worth it! Fang's fists aren't called "Iron Fists" for no reason. The gauntlets he wears are mere props compared to what his hands can naturally do. Similarly, his feet are just as tough. He could travel the world completely barefoot and not receive blisters, burns, or thorns. They say he once stopped a Blade Master's blade with his toes! Drunken Boxing: When Fang consumes alcohol before or in the middle of a match, his body becomes invigorated in a different manner. His movements become unpredictable and his perception increases mostly to a heightened subconscious state that will allow him to dodge and counter the moves of his enemies without even being consciously aware of them. This is a method for increasing his pain tolerance and tricking his mind and body to go the extra mile when it can't no more - the Second Wind. Too much alcohol, however, will cause the opposite effect. It will induce vomiting and all the horrible side effects of binging. Current Story: After Master Zhi Ming left The Iron Tortoise School for mysterious reasons, Fang was left in charge. He continued to teach Black Tortoise Martial Arts in his master's absence but secretly, he resented him for up and leaving. Tragically, a week later, the school was attacked by a sorcerer named Guozhi Han. Han was seeking to murder Grandmaster Ming and was disappointed to only find his best pupil. Fang worried the sorcerer when he defeated his strongest servants, and he was determined to finish the sorcerer off when Han discovered his weakness. Chenguang, who had been hiding, was found and taken hostage by Han. Han gave Fang two options: a) sacrifice his sister in order to save the school, or b) surrender to dark chi and become his servant so that she will live. Most dark chi/ki users were tempted by the power, but Han knew how tough Fang's willpower was. In order to protect his sister, Fang succumbed to the dark chi and became the sorcerer's puppet. Han took over The Iron Tortoise School and resides there now with Chenguang. He has commanded Fang to journey to the other schools and spread the corruption of dark chi/ki.
