Founded by three young superpowered individuals, their numbers grew for years. Until one day their smartest member, Brainiac 5, finally gave in to the evil in the back of his programming. The original Brainiac from the 21st century implanted the young hero with a techno virus during a battle with Superman and the Legion that spanned the timeline, where Superman believed he successfully destroyed the ancient technological juggernaut. The now augmented physical and technological powers and abilities of the once great Legionnaire is enough to overthrow even the United Planets after successfully wiping out more than half of the members of the Legion. Now the remaining Legionnaires attempt to rise from the ashes to take back the cosmos. Brainiac 5, the Persuader, and the Sun Killer all stand in their way during this campaign. _________________________________________________ _________________________________________________ _________________________________________________ Roll Call! Get permission before using another player's character in your posts if it involves changing the scene or making actions or just ask to collaborate in the titanpad. Everybody will take beatings in this game in battle however, so don't get pissed if you get punched or blasted into a wall by the bad guys! 7.) This sort of thing was usually one's means for transportation when you couldn't move your body from the waist down. The former leader of the Legion of Superheroes was now crippled after the last attack on the city of Metropolis. One year ago, in 2999, the Legion was stabbed in the back by one of their own. Brainiac 5 finally succumbed to the evil reprogramming in the back of his conscience left there by the original Brainiac of the 21st century. On that day several Legionnaires lost their lives. The original Ultra Boy as well as the Daxam native Mon-El, and Phantom Girl, all died trying to save the planet Daxam. Cosmic Boy was injured and is currently unable to walk when Brainiac 5 first attacked Metropolis before exiting the galaxy. The man in the purple shirt opened a compartment in his hover chair and dropped several Legion flight rings on the desk of the owner of the shop. "I need you to fix these. They need to run off of a new independent power source. I've got to have their universal translators, protective auras, and flight capabilities operating at the least..." Rokk Krinn stated. The shop owner wasn't worried about the rings and was eyeballing the chair. "That Nth metal ya got there?" the shop owner asked. "It is, but sir... can you fix these rings or not?" the former Cosmic Boy asked. "What you're asking is a tall order for such small devices. Some Nth metal would make the flight easier to make happen... THAT'S why I asked about the chair. Plus, that doesn't look like anything I've seen on the open market. Even in this day and age..." the shop owner commented. "I've just got friends in the right places..." Rokk stated with a smirk. Days later... A man in an iron mask and civilian attire walked out of his apartment home only to be greeted by Cosmic Boy just outside of his building. Rokk opened a compartment on his hover chair and grabbed a ring and tossed it to the masked man. "I'm trying to put a team back together Andrew. We're the only ones who can stop him..." the crippled man in the chair stated. Elsewhere... "Thanks again for the chair, I actually had to scrap part of the back panel for the new flight rings..." Cosmic Boy stated tossing a ring to a young man putting on something of a red Hawkman uniform, "I've still got quite a bit of recruiting to do but there's already some people I've got my eye on..." April 10th, 3000... The date was on a newspaper. The 'Coast City Sentinel' was one of the more popular papers on the west coast. This particular copy had been knocked out of a trashcan caught in the middle of a battle between a lame red and blue clad half robotic man calling himself Mandroid and a young man with powers in a white and yellow Legion t-shirt. The robotic adversary seemed to be modeled after the Manhunter androids who once operated under the influence of the Guardians of the Universe. These Guardians as well as the successors to the Manhunters, the Green Lantern Corps, were long gone. Here this idiot was though, trying to take down a futuristic STAR Labs. It was all the young man in the L t-shirt could do to rescue surrounding civilians and keep collateral damage from killing anyone. Mandroid wasn't much of a threat, but he was annoying. Sol finally had a clear shot at the robot man. "Let's just go ahead and call this one. Frak, it's been a long day..." he mumbled tagging the man in the knee caps with heat vision taking him down. Minutes later, as the authorities came in to clean up the mess and take Mandroid into custody, Cosmic Boy approached the young Daxamite in the L t-shirt who took the guy down. "I hear you're calling yourself Ultra Boy..." stated the man in the hover chair. April 12th, 3000 "LET'S GO LEGION!" Cosmic Boy screamed aloud and into the intercoms, "There are reports of 'techno squids' in downtown Metropolis, could be Brainiac Five up to something. I NEED FOUR OF YOU TO GO CHECK IT OUT..." ~KL~
