- One week ago - The roar Dai Suwind let out was only second to the powerful quake left as he grasped his opponent's trunks. Slamming the seemingly 900 pounder to the mat with his frame that was over double. Which he pressed all of onto his laid out opponent. Fattened feet left dangling in the air as Dai got a three count and won the match. The crowd roared as Dai quickly rose back to his feet. Grinning as he adjusted his severely tiny in comparison glasses with one hand while making a peace gesture with his other. While the match, and the fury that came with it, were all a thrill to Dai. It was everything afterwards that was difficult. Sitting in the heavy duty chair that wasn't comfortable, numbing his massive butt. Seeing a sea of reporters ask question after question. Trying to answer them all in a way that would make everyone happy when such a thing was impossible. Dai finally let out a sigh when he left the press room. His 6'6 gigantic frame jiggling under the clothes he had on. Preparing to head back to his hotel room for the night. The fans willing to stick around all surrounding the superstar. Wanting pictures, autographs, Dai normally would be thrilled to do it but tonight something in it just couldn't let him. Instead quietly but politely asking people to step aside. Suddenly though from in front of him, the crowd in a strange moment of even bigger awe, started to separate as someone approached him in a wheel chair. The haze of all the bright lights around him clouding who it was before Dai became frozen in stunned silence. "You're pretty good kid, but I think you can do more with it. I played magnoball on Braal for six years before founding the Legion five years ago. I could use a guy with your talents..." Cosmic Boy said from his shining chair among the rest of the crowd gathered around the hypersu celebrity. "I'm putting another team together, it's only a matter of time before Brainiac Five returns to this space sector..." Cosmic Boy continued pulling a ring from the compartment in his chair. Dumbfounded Dai watched as Cosmic Boy, his idol, the man who's pain caused him to cry when he was little. Now standing in front of him, complimenting him on his hypersu skills! But then it was the ring, the unmistakable nth metal ring coming out of Cosmic Boy's wheel chair and with a casual flick, was tossed to Dai who caught it easily. The crowd around the two were gasping in shock. But it was all nothing to what Dai was feeling, staring down at the ring in his massive hands. He could recall a time he would play when he was little, pretending he was in the Legion of Superheroes. It was his dream, and the closest he thought he'd ever get was imagining such a thing. This though, this was real, Cosmic Boy was right there. Finally Dai started to crack a smile, one which grew fast as Dai approached Cosmic Boy very quickly. "OHMYGODYESYESYESYESYESYES!" Dai proclaimed loudly and proudly, impressively albeit absent mindedly picking up Rokk wheelchair and all in a hug. Only to quickly realize what he was doing and put him back down. "Oh uh sorry! Got a bit carried away there..." - One week later - Dai Suwind was still not sure if he was living in some kind of dream. Sure, he had absolutely crushed the bed in his living quarters on the day he got there. Sure, he ate everything in the kitchen which led to said bed destruction. He had sworn to himself as he was traveling to Earth to be on his best behavior. But Dai was nervous as all can be. He was in the Legion of Superheroes! Still Rokk clearly understood Dai meant well, he made sure the kitchen was restocked by day’s end. Plus Rokk had a new Gluconian bed brought in the next day. It was awesome and instantly made Dai feel a bit more comfortable in the role. Speaking of comfortable, Dai was in his quarters, checking himself out in the neat red suit Rokk outfitted him with. It was made out of the same material most Gluconian clothes were made out of. Meaning it would stretch comfortably and breathe nicely. Dai was at his normal small frame at the moment, he hadn’t eaten at all that day as he had been too busy exploring his new home. Meeting teammates, geeking out with Momentum on being on the team, as well as Momentum’s awesome action figures and memorabilia. When Rokk came over the intercoms with the call Dai had to stop himself from immediately responding and getting in on the action. After all, he realized looking down at himself. If he went into battle as is he’d be dead meat. Mmm, meat, Dai needed to go eat something. Sure it doesn’t take long for a Gluconian to gain more than enough weight to put up a fight. But by the sound of things Dai didn’t even have that much time. He sighed wistful, “You guys go ahead, I need to get in shape first.” He responded over the comms. rubbing his tiny stomach as he made his way to the kitchen.
