Weapons: (all Gromril) Ironbeard's double sided az and shield with the symbol of command hanging off, brace of Drakefire Pistols. Attire: Full Gromril Plate and chainmail, heavy fire and weather proof leather gear. Equipment/Other Ocassionally a cinderblast bomb and/or mining charge. Will always have a piece of chuf (cheese a Dwarf keeps under a hat or helmet in case of emergency) and his own Dammaz Kron, although he has all but forgotten both. Physical Description: Of approximately average height for a Dwarf at 3'6, he has a thick gut hiding great muscles even for one of his kin. He has a long red-white beard, and and aging ponytail of the same colour. His helmet hides very strong features and a long, pointy yet curved nose. His body is wholly covered in burns. Mental Description/Personality: Mad at absolutely everything, he kills indiscriminately and often joyously. He would even kill one of his kin if he could find a morsel of justification. Background/History: Born in one of the minor settlements that Dwarfs have in the lands of the Empire, Krauss had a decent life. The hill settlement profited off of simultaneous trade with Kislevites and Ostermarkers. The settlement was far from the Goblin and Night Goblin incursion plaguing other Dwarfs. At worst they had to deal with occasional Beastmen and Forest Goblins. The settlement in total only had five Ironbreakers and five Irondrakes. While a niche spot with little glory to it unlike the Lord's Hammerers, a sense of duty hit Krauss and he instantly joined them when one of them died after being vomited on by several trolls, their bile going past the various joints and slits in his armour and dissolving the poor Dwarf from within. Life was seemingly uneventful, the land always had plenty and apart from chopping up the odd Urk with his az there was absolute security. However, the Rangers said that various Norscan longboats had been docking near and their warriors running about to scout. While many had fallen some hard ran away and told their masters of the wealthy Dwarf settlement. It was but months later that the Northerners came in full force. Hundreds of Marauders and dozens of Warriors, even a few chosen among them. The Warriors of the Settlement fought bravely, but could do nothing when their sorceror opened a warp portal with horrors of Tzeentch coming and one of their corrupted Dragons. They burned all in their sight, all but the Lord, Thane, Runesmith, Ironbreakers and Irondrakes dying thanks to their Gromril armour. These of them left the hold through the underground path and caved it in behind them, their life as they knew it gone forever. After that it was for dozens of years that they all wandered the world trying to slay those who did this to them, all thirteen of them covered in warp-fire burns. One by one they fell, failing to do what they desired. When only four were left they met one night at a fire, discussing what they would do. They all recognized the futility of their hopes and split up. The Lord became a Slayer while his son became an Engineer. The Runesmith went on to another hold and successfully became their Runelord, and that left Krauss. Krauss did not fail his hold and did not see a reason to become a Slayer, but he had no purpose in life. He heard of the Dogs of war, those who fight with no purpose but coin and saw a thing perfect for him. Gathering the gear of his dead comrades, he went and joined up.
