Much of the old magical knowledge has been lost in the destruction of the world. But there are ways to perhaps uncover some of the things you mentioned back. "Haste" is a relatively simple thing, so it wouldn't be the problem of knowing it, but being able to use it. Naturally, possessing magic and gaining more power is adjoined to growing the 'Soul' for the Cardinals. Most of the character have lost their touch to their magic, but will be given a chance to recover it. Quite early on, in fact. Though, in this roleplay, as I have stressed, everything has a consequence, even benefits are not always so clear. I have to warn, all magic leaves a lasting mark within a person because it relies on the push of darker emotions. Such as turning into a beast, would require someone to forgo their logical thoughts and embrace primal instinct. Even for just a short while, they might not be able resist the call of the wild. And funny you should mention that, because there is actually a Cardinal race in the roleplay whom were shapeshifters. [@Light] Yeah, there is still room. I plan on accepting more than intended due to the fact that I know a large majority people will probably drop out around the beginning. It's just the nature of these things, so it's best to have a surplus. :^D
