So...I will say the first thing I intend to do with my character is to have him visit a school. He's going to be burning with Dark Chi too. Fang, even full of Dark Chi, doesn't yield so easily thus his "Indomitable Will" ability. So he will be mostly sane, trying to maintain his conscience and the last bit of un-corrupted chi he has left. The only thing is, his actions will be mostly his actions with little influence of the Dark Chi because he's basically a victim to Guozhi Han. If he doesn't do what the sorcerer commands, then Chenguang will be harmed if not killed if he completely disobeys the sorcerer, so he's in a horrible pinch.

People don't have to congregate immediately. They can easily meet other characters elsewhere and carryout whatever you want to imagine. The characters can all just naturally meet eventually. I'm sure there will be events where another character's enemy crosses over to affect another character, thus drawing those two together on a common goal.
