Man has colonised hundreds upon thousands of planets all around our own little corner of the Milky Way. But of course, not everyone was happy with a single entity controlling everything, that entity being the United Earth Government and its military wing, the United Earth Government Naval Command. War broke out just years after its formation, threatening the livelihood of citizens everywhere. But with a powerful military, these rebels have been more or less brought under control. However, they still continue to operate, this period now known as the Colonial Uprising. An insurgency the UEGNC has struggled to keep under control for the past ninety-four years.

2842, Reunion, Luminae Star System. 2,258 lightyears from Earth. The Battle of Reunion is taking place, and is one of the largest engagements fought between the UEGNC and the powerful rebel group known as the Frontier Liberation Army. The battle has dragged n for more than a month, with firefights and engagements taking place all around the arid and dry planet. Despite overwhelming orbital and numerical superiority, the UEGNC still struggled to take down unexpectedly coordinated rebel guerilla fighters.

Chariot Platoon is a four-tank platoon of RT413 Main Battle Tanks, some of the newest and most advanced tanks ever built by the UEGNC. Their 175mm electromagnetically-propelled hypervelocity guns could tear apart almost anything that wasn't a ship. Things were going well, with the 74th Armoured Division spearheading an assault on a heavily-guarded rebel base. Chariot Platoon took left flank, blasting apart enemy defences as drop pods streaked down from orbit. 

However, when a sudden and unexpected anomalous superstorm appears and swallows the platoon, they are suddenly transported to a foreign land in a foreign world. Lost and confused, they have no choice but to follow the oddly-paved cobblestone road in the middle of a valley.  

Meanwhile, on the continent of Acadoria on the world of Ceas where magic reigns supreme, the inhabitants of the town of Riverwood get the shock of their lives when four huge metal beasts roll into their town.

Welcome to Rolling Thunder, a Sci-Fi/Fantasy crossover about a platoon of four tanks from the distant future getting stranded in a fantasy world. The story will mostly centre around the platoon trying to find a way home, unknowingly setting off a chain of events that could change the world with their arrival.

The tank crews have already been filled up, so new players will have to join the fantasy side first, until someone drops out.

The RT413 Dragoon Main Battle Tank is one of the newest and most advanced main battle tanks in service with the UEGNC. It is highly mobile and the ultimate tank warfare fighting machine. The Dragoon is armed and heavily armoured, powered by a plasma reactor and a pair of secondary hydrogen engines. Its nanocomposite duratanium (a lightweight and sturdy metal called duranium which is alloyed with titanium to create an ultra-strong metal) ensures that it can withstand even the heaviest of attacks. It has multiple storage compartments for the crew and enough provisions to last a week or more. Each Dragoon is equipped with an advanced Trophy system that forms a protective shield around the tank that destroys any hostile projectile. The Dragoon weighs roughly 78 metric tons.

A unique feature of the Dragoon is its ability for its tracks to buckle and fold, forming a set of legs for the tank to overcome obstacles. This also makes it easier to engage targets thanks to its increased height. Breakdowns are rare thanks to advanced self-repair systems that fix any form of damage. It is equipped with a 175mm railgun that fires hypervelocity high explosive shells or flechette rounds. Its secondary armament consists of six Swarmer antipersonnel missile launchers that fire dozens of tiny 25mm missiles that are highly effective against infantry. Its tertiary weapon is a .62 caliber coaxial gun.
