Immediately her eyes began to water from air exposure and with an inhale she coughed. Every muscle in her body was sore, almost to a numbing point. She moved her eyes around the room trying to see something, anything. Faint lights seemed to glow all over the room but everything was a fog and she couldn't keep her eyes open for very long without feeling them burn. There was a sound on the edge of her tongue. "Be.." What was it she was trying to remember. Her body hurts. "Bet, no that's not right." She said to herself. "Beth?" She remembered. She felt familiarity with it. "My Name?" Again came more coughing, her throat hurt with the air and the rattling of her long unused vocal cords. "Lets try opening my eyes again" her internal voice whispered. She peeked her eyes open again just a sliver, it hurt, it burned and she closed them again. Beth lifted her arms slowly, her muscles ached and her joints popped with the movements. "A box?" She thought as she felt the sides of what she was laying in. She tried lifting her leg and lunging forward which resulted in her falling out of her capsule and landing on the cold ground. She lied there for a moment, the pain that shot through her body was fierce. "Lets try sitting" She thought. More coughs and gasps. She began slowly pulled her legs in and sitting up. This was as far as she could get. Her eyes were still closed, barely attempting to peak through them every so often.
