"After two sunders, we can basically start doing damage to it," Nadia said. Where was she? The answer was simple. She - along with two dozen of her fellow warriors of justice - were assembled in an molten cavern, glancing from a distance at a massive dragon that lied just ahead. Each and every one of them was clad in only the finest of weapons and armor. They were ready for this fight; Nadia knew it. The whole thing might have seemed more epic to onlookers if it weren't for one little issue. None of this was real. Over Nadia's ears was a headset, complete with microphone to let her vocally communicate with fellow gamers, and in front of her was a computer monitor with the "warriors of justice" all on-screen, featuring several action bars with tanking abilities Nadia had set up to use. "When it gets into phase two, nuke it as hard as possible. Until then, you--" Her explanation of raid boss mechanics was cut short by what sounded like a small alarm going off near her. Dammit! Nadia glanced in the direction of the sound's source, to see evacuation orders issued for Cities K, S, and T. Just her luck. "Sorry guys. Duty calls. Any of you in those cities, go somewhere safe. I want to hear from all of you when this is over." Whatever had dared to threaten these cities was making it difficult to go about the activities she wanted to do on her downtime. City K was closest to her, and as such was the logical destination. No doubt the Association was already deploying heroes to all three cities. Nadia - no, Collider - would have to show whatever was behind this a thing or two about justice.
It wasn't much later that Nadia was in City K, clad in Collider costume and weapon at hand. From her spot, it was fairly easy to tell where the chaos was coming from. The spot with the fallen buildings, no doubt. There was a...good god that thing was ugly. The nearby pod type thing made it fairly clear. This was some sort of alien, right? Goodie. Fearless though she may have been, however, Nadia wasn't stupid. She had no clue what this alien was capable of. Rather than blindly charging in, she had to get an idea of its powers. And so, Nadia activated her ability for just a brief moment, granting herself superior strength and speed with which she ran toward a small car about half a block down, delivering a full-force kick to the vehicle once she was there. The vehicle flew off, toward her target. That'll show it to mess with my raid schedule. Maybe.
