[@CadenGallic] As he spotted the incoming projectile, he fought the instinct to stop in his tracks and instead forced his legs forwards while shifting his centre of mass downwards, causing him to slide underneath the cannonball with the barest of margins. Pushing himself back into a crouch, he angled his run so that he drew closer to her. His thumb flicked a switch on the side of his rifle, the lights near the end of his weapon turning purple as a vial of Gravity Dust clicked into place. He managed to raise his weapon in time as she fired her second shot, firing a bust at the incoming cannonball. The gravity dust infused into the shots ignited on contact, the resultant forces knocking the iron ball off-course to smash into the ground to his right. Seemingly un-phased on the outside, Venator was very glad his on-the-spot gamble worked out, or he would have taken a mass of iron straight to the face. Taking advantage of the time between shots, he ran towards her at a shallow curve, hoping to keep her pinned under rapid bursts of gravitationally-assisted gunfire.
