No, Vellios is in his quarters and currently is only focused on Serena.. then likely out cold. 

Add on, my post also happened I think some time [i]after[/i] the crew came in, patched up, etc. So unless his scream echoed through the whole ship... it's not likely my PC would've heard him. I know the ship's shoddy, but it's not that shoddy that every little sound can be literally heard.
