v2's weapon flashed into his hand the moment he heard voices in the hallway. He took one last look at the two kids, mentally cursed Seth for dragging the fleet into his wild goose chase, and strode out of the room. He slammed the door shut behind him and tapped his blade against the doorway. A satisfying click echoed down the hall as the door locked behind him. He took the measure of the three people at the opposite end of the hallway and felt a smirk that was completely beyond his control grow across his face. He had to smile when fighting villains. It was in his programming.

Then the hallway exploded, and with it went the grin. He reached out and grabbed Ryteb by the shoulder. "This is a hospital, you can't just throw around attacks like that." He looked down the hallway, his scanners cutting through the dust to pick out the shapes of the opponents. He locked on the big guy. The one that had made those disparaging comments about robots. "Divide and conquer, and for heaven sake take it outside." With that his rocket feet flared to life and he shot off through the debris like a guided missile, aiming to hit his target and carry him out through the window at the end of the hall before he even knew what was happening.
