You pledged your life to the order- now it's time to fulfill that pledge. Since you have pledged, you have been occasionally going out and fighting the monsters. But nothing could prepare you for this. The fabrics of our realm have teared- and it's not the usual tear. Something like this hasn't been seen for millions of years, in another realm entirely. The tear isn't a rip, or even a large hole. No, the fabric of the realm has almost fallen to pieces, leaving only a small part of it left. The Sprites are doing their best to repair it- but it's not enough. It's all up to the Knights now- all up to you to protect the world you call home. Only you and your fellow Knights can see them- regular humans cannot. Sometimes they can take form as a human, infiltrating important places and causing destruction. They can also appear as strong storms (such as tsunamis, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.). They often cause car crashes or mysterious disappearances. The Sprites have been trying their darndest to recruit new Knights. Recruits are starting to pour in from the outside, adding to the number of potential Knights. However, most of these recruits will never become Knights, because they don't have the drive and determination that is such a valued quality in the order. Without the drive, you will never get to be a full Knight. You are one of the few who passed the initial tests, who got to keep their memory of the experience and become one of the Knights. Now it is your job to keep your realm safe.

Sprites
Sprites initially appear as a ball of colored light about the size of a tennis ball, but they can take the form of any animal that could comfortably stand on the palm of a human hand. Aside from delivering the Chroma Knights their powers and informing them of their mission, the sprites keep watch for suspicious activity and report it back. They can also join the Knights on missions, scouting ahead to provide intel. They try to be helpful, but they may have individual and unique personality quirks. Examples of creatures small enough includes songbirds, elf owls, butterflies, moths, dragonflies, mice, gerbils, hamsters, jerboas, sugar gliders, bats, turtles, frogs, and lizards. While it is technically possible for a sprite to take the form of a fantastic creature, such as a small fairy or a miniature dragon, the idea is to blend in. Therefore, it should choose a form that can pass off as a pet or as local wildlife.

Colors, Classes, and Powers
The color's purpose is to distinguish yourself from other Knights. There's a tattoo on your character's right hand, in the color of their choosing, and in the shape of their class symbol. The classes give different powers to your characters. For example, the Butterfly class gives the power to create illusions. Beow is a list of some sample colors but feel free to use whatever color you want. (except for any form of black or white. super light colors are fine, no gray, black, or white). Red (#ff0000)(reserved for [@PrimalOrigins]) Tangerine (#ff5c00) Orange (#ff9100)(reserved for [@Aeternum]) Gamboge (#ffc000)(reserved for [@FallenTrinity]) Yellow (#ffff00) Lime (#c1ff00)[reserved for [@Kyrisse] Chartreuse (#92ff00) Green (00ff00) Jade (#00ffb0) Cyan (#00ffff) Sky (#00c0ff) Azure (#006eff)(reserved for [@Musaki Hajime]) Cerulean (#003fff) Blue (#0000ff) Indigo (#4e00ff) Violet (#6d00ff)(reserved for [@VampireOracle]) Purple (#9d00ff) Plum (#c000ff) Magenta (#ff00ff) Fuschia (#ff0082)(reserved for [@canaryrose])
Classes
Asclepian Asclepians are healers. They tend to heal themselves quickly. Arrow Arrows fire small, focused attacks that have a far longer range than most others. They also have enhanced accuracy. Arrows are essentially the snipers of the knights. Butterfly The special powers of the Butterfly class are primarily visual. They may have the power to magically disguise themselves or to create diversionary illusions. Cartesian They can move objects with their mind, communicate telepathically, see current events going on in other places, or even teleport. Individual Cartesians may have a limited ability to see other places and excellent teleportation skills, or they may have an excellent ability to see others places and limited teleportation skills, or they may have a mediocre ability to see and teleport. They cannot have excellent abilities to see and teleport. Hammer Hammers have enhanced strength and durability. Their special power is a short-ranged, yet powerful energy blast. Croscope Croscopes can make objects smaller or larger. The more practice they have at it, the more extensive the effect can be and the longer it can last. A newbie Croscope can make a human about 1/6th his or her original height or enlarge a piece of gravel to the size of a medium-sized watermelon for about five minutes. Shield Shields do exactly what their name suggests: create shields that deflect or absorb attacks. This power actually has incredibly diverse applications - they can learn to bounce attacks back, and experienced Shields can even bisect solid objects by creating a shield through them. Individual Shields may be excellent at reflecting or bisecting, or mediocre at both, but they cannot be excellent at both. Temporean The Temporean Class's powers relate to time - they can see into the future, see past events, or even stop, manipulate, or travel through time itself. (Time travel is limited to up to 72 hours into the past or future, and is not a power that new or inexperienced knights have.) Individual Temporeans may have an excellent ability to travel through time and a poor ability to see through time, or a poor ability to travel through time and an excellent ability to see through it, or a mediocre ability to travel and a mediocre ability to see. They cannot be excellent time-travelers and seers.
Common Powers
*Basic Energy Shot: Exactly what it sounds like. This would essentially be the pistol to the Arrow's sniper rifle or to the Hammer's battering ram. *Induce Prosopagnosia: Nobody, except other Chroma Knights, will recognize their faces when suited up, which will generally prevent them from being recognized by humans in most cases. Mind you, they can still be recognized if they're not careful - if someone they know spots them wearing that one-of-a-kind custom pendant, sees that weird-shaped scar they got in a childhood accident, or recognizes unique speech patterns, then they'll start making the connection. *Unfilmability: Chroma Knights will not photograph or film properly when they're suited up. Pictures or videos will turn out wonky, blurry, or badly-lit no matter what the lighting conditions were or what camera settings were used. However, Chroma Knights shouldn't get cocky and think they can get away with anything - there are other ways to place a person at the scene of a crime. *Strength/Agility Boost: Chroma Knights have a slight strength and agility boost.

Gear
The gear that Chroma Knights wear are only to be worn during battle. They activate several of the common powers, such as Unfilmability and Induce Prosopagnosia. The gear is in their color (different shades if you'd like) and has their symbol somewhere on it. Feel free to go all out on this one- plates of armor, Viking outfits, and even (muhahaha) magical girl outfits. You know, if you're into that kind of stuff. Feel free to design your own, find a picture, or use a generator.

There are many different Chroma Knight bases all over the world, but the base that your character is part of is the one that is based in modern day New York City. The base is vast, containing dorms, training rooms, classrooms, kitchens, its own hospital area, and more. The most used entrance is placed at a cafe that is owned by the Chroma Knights. Though based in NYC, the cafe is found in a unexisting part to save members the trouble of having to reference to every street and building as they go about the rp.

Where does the rp take place? In a unexistent area of modern NYC. How was my character recruited? Sprites (the balls of light) are able to disguise themselves and travel around, keeping an eye out for people with certain qualities that would make them good Knights. Once a sprite believes that they have found a possible candidate, they will approach the person and deliver a message explaining about the Knights, and offer them a posistion as a Knight. If they accept, they will first have to be tested. If they pass, they are given a class according to what the sprite thinks they will do best as. (Cartesian, Arrow, Sheild, etc) They must also, of course, swear to secrecy. If the person does not pass the test (which is very, very rare) they will either have to be made to "disappear" through an accident and be sent elsewhere to live for their lives and be monitored to make sure they do not tell the secret, or if possible, have their memory altered. Where does my character live once part of the Knights? Do they have to pay for a nearby apartment? Can they live with their parents? Once recruited, the new Knight is given a dorm in the underground base. They do not have to pay for it. The Knight is given a place in the base to live so that if an alarm goes off, they are already there and ready to go. However, having the Knights live in the base adds an extra complication. No one but the Knights are permitted to enter the base, so when family and friends come to visit, there is a procedure to do. First of all, visits must be scheduled at least 12 hours in advance. The schedules are handled and organized by a staff member. Once a meeting time is set (and verified with the Knight), the preperations begin. Normally a day ahead of the visit, the Knight's belongings are moved up to one of the living spaces above the cafe to make it look like they live there. Once that is done, the person can either spend the night there or return and be teleported to the room the next day a little before the visit. If extra decorations are needed in order to make the room look more lively or more realistic (like the person might have painted or decorated the walls a certain way) a butterfly can be sent to make a few illusions. Note: The entrance to the living spaces is monitored by security cameras and is electronically locked. That means that there is someone constantly monitoring the cameras, letting in visitors as they are seen. There is also a speaker system there. What is the age limit for my character? No one younger than 13. As for how old, a character can be a Knight as long as they are able to meet the physical and mental strength requirements. Probably no older than in the 40s. If your character is 13 they have a much lower chance of being sent out for battle and will most likely just be training, as the organization tries not to send out young children unless in an emergency. Also, if you decide to create a character younger than 18, keep in mind that they will still have parents/guardians that will have to be convinced to let them go off to join the Chroma Knights. But, the child's guardian will have to be convinced without actually being told about the knights. Please include how your character managed to work around this problem in their history. If you have trouble coming up with an explanation, PM the GMs for help. What is the impact of the monsters on normal people? Only the Knights can see the monsters, but that doesn't mean that all the damage the monsters do is invisible too. Most of the damage created by the monsters before they are dealt with is explained with normal phenomenons, earthquakes, hurricanes, etc. Do the bases all over the world keep in contact with each other? Yes. They meet physically every year. They often hold astral meetings as well. How does the organization get money for all the supplies and such? The organization gets money through the buisnesses that they own. Near the cafe are a few shops that everyone can shop at for supplies, and the profits go towards the base. They also own an apartment/dorm complexs that they rent out to students that are attending the college nearby. Again, the profits go towards the base. Do the Knights get paid for their work? Their form of payment is their powers, being able to do what they do is a form of payment within itself. Also, the Knights are encouraged to take up paid jobs at the stores and apartment complexes that the organization owns. But they do get a stipend of $200 a month.

-First of all, follow all of the regular Roleplayer's Guild rules. -Don't be a dick. Don't start arguing about petty little things that nobody cares about, overall be respectful to your fellow roleplayers. It'll be more fun for all of us if we follow this rule. -Listen to the GM and Co-GM(s). If you don't, there are bound to be some major problems. -Make your characters realistic. I don't want any magical 'I'm a vampire' characters floating around here. -Do not godmod. Do not auto-hit/auto-kill unless a GM or a player expressly permits it. -Romance is allowed. However, anyone that goes beyond kissing into the sex range, please black it out. Us GMs don't want to get in trouble with the mods. -This roleplay will be gory. Knights will often die in brutal and bloody ways. We ask you to comply with this and not make your character untouchable. -Up to three characters per player. -Yes, there will be a post minimum. I require at least 4 sentences per post, because come on people. This is not free, this is casual. So if this roleplay is out of your range of skill, please come back once you are ready to write this much. -At least one post per week. If you're absent, I will allow 2 weeks of absence, but anything beyond that means the likely brutal death or maiming of your character. -You must communicate with us. If you decide to drop out, please don't drop out without telling us. If you're leaving for a bit, tell us. Otherwise, we may mistakenly kill your character. -Please address your PMs sent to a GM to all of us. We would like to be in the know about what's happening. -Have FUN! -This rp was not created by me, it was created by a wonderful site called Springhole. http://www.springhole.net/index.html. I simply tweaked and changed a few things to my liking. -Please join our Discord for another way of communication: https://discord.gg/sPaRF9M

Using either CS is fine, they have the exact same categories, one of them is just a little prettier than the other one. For the fancier CS sheet, please replace the NPC color (#A59492) with the color you will be using for your character's dialogue.
Name: Character's full name here Age: 13+ Gender: female/male, feel free to add sexuality Height: here, please make sure to specify ft/m Weight: here, please make sure to specify lbs or kg Class: The color you will be using for your character's dialogue, plus their class. Ex: Blue Shield Appearance: Describe your characters overall look. Things such as hair, eye, and skin color, as well as their body build and the way they carry themselves are some of the things that can be included. A picture and description is preferred, though you can also just use a picture or put in a description. There is no need to describe their clothes, there is a section below for that. Casual Outfit: A picture (or two) of what your character wears on a daily basis. Feel free to add a description as well. Combat Outfit: Place a picture of how your character looks in their outfit when going out to battle. This is an outfit that they would wear only when fighting. You can be a bit more creative here, maybe give them armor, a few extra mechanical nick-knacks, and such. List weapons that they would use here as well. Your character does not need a weapon of their own since they have magic, and depending on the battle, weapons may sometimes be handed out. Just keep your characters age in mind when you give them weapons, a thirteen year old is not going to have a gun. Personality: Describe your character's traits here. Go into detail, don't just put "x is kind, funny, and introverted". At least a good paragraph, please. History: What your character's life was like before being recruited, what they did, where they lived, a few important life events.
