Hazel Baker Her attacks collided with the doll, exploding off its arm before it can do any real harm. It almost surprised her as well, for she half expected the doll to simply pirouette out of the way, considering what happened earlier. There was a secret to their uncanny dodging just a moment ago, and she had a good idea of what it was. The dolls were linked together somehow, and one of them saw her movements, and warned the doll of danger, causing it to dodge instinctively. Right now, the two who had sat idle in the back moved just out of her range. What it meant in her head was, the dolls sent in one of their numbers to gauge her range and threat, before making up a plan of their own. They were more intelligent than they looked. But, she was in no state to actually convey that to anyone. The pain from the numerous gashes on her right arm was cutting through her drug induced haze; Hazel was slowly getting more lucid and aware of her surroundings. Small hands caressed her cheeks, soft and without malice. Her breath caught in her throat, as her hand whipped up to her cheeks. Nothing. Simply her own sweat dripping down from her brows. Her breathing was getting irregular, though she still remained aware of the battlefield. The doll rushing her had less range than she did, especially now when its arm was busted. It was also attacking, which, based on what happened during her previous attack, meant it wouldn't be able to dodge as quickly as it did the first time. "You're injured... are you okay Hazel?" She blinked at the voice, for a moment seeing not Emma but a young girl with short hair. She grinned, and though she was missing a tooth, it was still a friendly face. It was after all the face of- Gritting her teeth and ignoring it, she threw a punch, a short left jab at the doll, taking advantage of her superior reach over the doll. The haze still quickly fading from the adrenaline and pain, she had started filling up her thoughts with meaningless things like recipes and lists.
