Amaterasu
Level 1 Day 1 Tetris Castle Reception Hall Interaction:[@SuddenSardines][@Hylozoist] Ammy's attention was diverted from the man in black by the pale corpulent creature beside her. At first she was led, mostly by the exposed and gently swaying tongue, that some sort of monster had waylaid that poor cloud creature who had delivered the message and had slipped in that way but one quick sniff dispelled that notion. Such a creature would stink of corruption and this one didn't even register a whiff of the stuff, especially when compared to the veritable walking miasma sitting opposite her across the table. At most there was vague hint of swamp water and, camouflaged almost completely by the surrounding spreads of lavish food, the scent of meals prepared in times long past. Still, no matter how harmless it seemed, it wasn't getting this ham. She was all for feeding the hungry of the world, but that thing didn't seem as though it had gone hungry a day in its life. Besides which, you didn't just take offerings to the gods for yourself especially if those offerings were already in the gods mouth. In response she slowly sank her teeth deeper and deeper into the ham. Until the man in black spoke, causing her jaw to pop open in and forsake any claim on the ham. She stared across the way at the man in black, narrowing her eyes. The mans senses were obviously very sharp. No one else had commented on the red markings running across her body, though she had no way of knowing whether that meant they just saw a normal wolf when they looked at her or if they had simply been inundated by so much strangeness over the course of some far-flung adventure that they had become numb to it. It was safe to assume that any random mortal wouldn't be able to see her as she was, or even any random legendary hero, but then she had already sensed that this one wasn't any random mortal. She gave him a knowing look, leaning in and giving the air in front of him a few sniffs before barking at him questioningly, as though asking why his form was so thoroughly hidden.
"By the blood, what have I gotten myself into?" he muttered to himself.
She followed his eyes over to the pale thing, looked back at him, and shook her head in silent solidarity. It was slightly comforting to know that, no matter what the two of them truly were, neither of them were quite...that.
