Gordon's arm got tired after a while holding it up, and he eventually let it fall back to his side when it was clear that Samus wasn't going to shake it. However, she asked if he was here for the Mugen Virus, and he nodded in response, then pointed to his lambda symbol on his HEV suit and signed the words 'free' and 'man' when she asked who he was. He took a moment to look around, noticing that several more of these heroes had arrived, namely a man in a white cloak and matching hood, and a strange white wolf with red markings who was currently chomping down on a rather large piece of ham.

Then of course he was interrupted, this time by a weird short and fat creature wearing a chef's hat. It barged into the room and had begun to stuff random foodstuffs into its mouth. Within the span of a few seconds, it had already grabbed several pieces of bread, dried fruit, rice pudding, some cheese, and an entire half chicken, and stuffed it down its throat within an equally short period of time. 

Well, that was something Freeman hadn't seen before. 

However, he noticed that the man in gothic attire had stopped in front of the wolf and muttered something, causing it to stop eating and stare at him the ham dropping out of its mouth. [color=crimson]"By the blood, what have I gotten myself into?"[/color] He heard him mutter when the short... thing that started eating everything arrive.

Similarly, the wolf was distracted by the thing. It observed the thing, then looked back and shook its head. The two of them stared at each other for a while, until-

Wait.

The wolf shook its head.

That probably meant that she could understand him and was probably capable of intelligent thought, and that it was not just some random castle pet. Hurridly, Gordon made his way over to the pair, nodding in greeting to the gothic man, then focusing his attention on the wolf. He folded his arms and gave the wolf a curious look.

"..." He said, almost asking what it was, because it was anything but a normal wolf.
