[@Verse Zero] Hmm, good question. I think they have similar views about humans, despite Rowan's wandering off the "path" so to say. Maybe she could've been the one to teach him to control his thirst/better himself as a vampire? Because when he arrived to town, he was feeding on animals out of necessity anyway. I could see a loose mentor/student relationship, if not older sister/little brother. Sets up major disappointment for her to have in him later, when more is discovered haha

Edit: Also I realize one working at a bar and the other at a cafe creates an interesting dynamic/foil. Paints Rowan as sunny and Amelia comparable to the moon, lol. Kinda interesting to me
