The silent atmosphere after his announcement wasn't unexpected in the slightest. This information spanned a good few pages, giving him lots of reading material until anyone finally deigned to open their mouths. When a sound eventually broke the silence, it wasn't from anyone within the room. A sharp rap, then the door opened slowly and a young man came in hesitantly, voice mellow. From the various moths and other winged insects buzzing around him, Emory was certain this man was Arden Taika, the neutral magic user his boss told him about.
