	The dwarves think that the High King was placed there by God. The humans do not, but still respect him. The humans also have an allegiance to the High Princess Laura, daughter of their former king, who joined with the dwarves in order to prevent them from starving to death as a result of their struggling economy.
	The humans and dwarves both speak english. The dwarves speak dwarvish, a language resembling Portuguese.
