I suggest reading the post on the previous page that includes a section called 'Elimination Rules (Elaboration)'. We already settled on the matter of whether dead characters could remain in play somehow (I have plans), but very few people outside of my more long-standing contacts have had anything to say involving the elimination system and I'm wondering if this means everyone has no objections with me just moving forward with it. Certain elements of it required we have a reasonable number of players, but it looks like we're getting that.

While this doesn't apply to many of you, this is just a heads up to those who haven't said anything (either in this thread or over PM or some other contact method) since their first post in this thread that I'll be assuming you're not sticking with us if you don't say anything between now and the time that I link this thread to the official thread for the role-play. This isn't to say that I'll deny you from the role-play if you join us there, but I'm trying to cut down the number of people I send notifications to only those truly showing interest.

With that said, I'm currently working on the official thread, and collecting bits and pieces that were missing at the time I posted the interest check originally. The part which'll most likely take a bit of time to organize is gonna be the map of the setting that I mentioned. Keeping this in mind, if anyone thinks I should create the official thread before finishing this map, so you guys can start registering, then go ahead and ask me to do so here.

I'll probably keep my work going in the background until at least one person actually asks me to open the official thread, since it's mostly for the sake of them being able to post up character sheets and whatnot. I plan on including a link of this OOC in the official thread, since this is basically the first part of the official thread's OOC when you get technical about it.

So yeah, it's not so much that I mind whether I do it or not, but rather I'll get the ball rolling the moment someone here'd actually like to see the official thread up.

Sounds good. I suspect someone'll probably ask me to get the official thread up earlier, but I'll make that the deadline for the transfer if that's the case. Watching stuff beforehand to get into the right atmosphere for the style of role-play's always a good idea, though admittedly this role-play'll be more paranormal in nature than those examples you gave -- they're still good research material though.

Currently touching up the opening post on my end, generally trying to make it look closer to what I'd have done if I wasn't rushing to get the interest check out as quickly as I did. I've included another category to the 'Public CS' now as well, just so everyone knows.

Well yeah, so long as they're adjusted for the setting then I don't have a problem with people bringing over their characters from other projects.

This role-play's setting is only very slightly linked to my 'Guardian Ascension' project -- this isn't really a spoiler or anything, but the idea in my head is that it's part of its multiverse/whatever. This will have very minor impacts on certain things, but otherwise the plot and setting will be totally disconnected from it.

Edit: Another edit's been made to the 'Public CS', and more enhancements done to the opening post in general.

The official thread has been opened.

Since no one seemed to have any other inquiries or opinions regarding the system, I've decided to move things forward. A few of the pictures in the opening post that I wanted, alongside our map, are still a work in progress, but from this point on people are allowed to register characters. While I considered including a timeline in the opening post, I've decided against it to avoid spoilers and to make things more unknown for you all. I've also rewritten some of the rules to better explain things and also to confirm ideas that have been decided to be implemented, and the opening post in general has been fleshed out -- I suggest you all read over it again when you're able to.

I've edited in the proper link now, and that thread you found will be getting deleted, so don't bother with it.

'Public CS' should be posted into the thread generally speaking, while 'Private CS' gets sent through PM (using the name I specified for the PM in the tutorial for the 'Private CS').

Honestly, it's fine mate. So long as I'm not in the midst of working on something with my main project, I always welcome people's questions or thoughts. I'm not the type of GM who doesn't try to help make the experience enjoyable for my players.
