Liam was surprised to see that Shiranui lost in the semi-final. He made all of his notes and tossed the pad into his pocket. He went out and took his place as Johna took hers. At one point in the battle, Johana tried to have Umbreon heak itself with Moonlight. A moon apeared above the stage and shined beams down on Umbreon. Grimm was instructed to use Shadow Punch and destroy the moon. In an anime-esqie way, the command was done, making chunks of faux-moon rain on the stage, taking Johana's final 1/8 of her points, giving Liam the win. He took his place for the final.
