Lusius Mathand
Interacting With: [@13org] Lusius took another gulp of his drink. It wasn't anything particularly strong, but the ale helped to take the edge off without hampering his senses too badly. After all, he had to keep his wits about him less things grow to be more problematic. One thing he could be grateful for was that the night was calm and despite the riotous splendor of the tavern he was easily able to drown out the noise and just enjoy himself. Still he was not destined to remain alone when a man with a very heavy German accent came up to greet him. Nodding in response to his greeting as well as lifting his cup in a small show of respect. With another drink he listened to the German man's words before realizing that he had a point. Of course they lives with different burdens and he would never understand the one he carried, but that didn't make him any special or different as he'd never understand what burden he carried. "Believe me... I understand friend." Lusius said, not mixing his words or even particularly trying to sound prophetic. He just knew that sometimes should just be forgotten. Still the stranger seemed like an interesting sort and didn't mind riding up to chat, so why not give him a fair's chance. "Who are you friend? I can't say that I can put a name to your face." Lusius spoke the truth though. He'd spent about 20 years in Seren's Folly, but with new faces, new travelers, and of course, new Hunters always showing up it was hard to know who's who. Also included in that fact was how he no longer resided in Seren's Folly persay. His new hovel was built up a decent way outside of the town's limits. More so for their safety than anything else, but also to let Lusius suffer alone. He didn't deserve to be with humans, not anymore. Regardless now was the time to try and make an effort in bettering now just Seren's Folly, but also the world and he couldn't do that by cowering back in his home. "Name's Lusius friend. Sort of a local around here." He started, looking away from his drink finally to actually look at the German stranger. "I saw you at the board. Find anything worth doing?"
