[@Hostile] Sounds like most games of Stellaris I have, except while I'm an expansionist Imperium, everyone else around me tends to either be Federation Builders or Democratic Crusaders. Truly, there is only war. 

And corvettes. Lots and Lots of Corvettes. 

Another Paradox game I'm trying to learn is Hearts of Iron IV. It's definitely more accessible than the past games, but I'm just trying to figure out effective ways to research, produce, and just survive with any given country. I don't think I'll be trying Poland again any time soon, even if you can go super ahistorical with them.
