Lusius Mathand
Once aain there was more and more signs cropping up that showed soemthing was coming. Draco Russ, long time vetern of teh hunt readying himself for attack, the wolf outside making a ruckus, more and more peoplea round teh tavern started to seem uneasy. However, the worst of all was when Emmerich spoke. His blood chilling speech affected him the most out of all the others as he knew what it was like to truly have a monster inside. As he droned on about claws, fangs, and blood the Burning Man began to stir within him, spooling up as if to coil and burst forth to see the moonlight once again and it made Lusius sick to his stomach. Once there may have been hope that he'd have something to eat after the fight, but not anymore. And perhaps his reaction was a bit over blown for what was just words, but he'd been battling his demon inside for decades now and it wasn't getting any easier. Each day he had to actively fight back the poisonous influence of the beast and it was taxing, yet standing before him in this very moment was a man who'd given in and embraced his beast within, accepting the bloodlust and becoming something else. Lusius could never let himself become the man who stood before him. Regardless there was a job to do and with Draco up and heading towards him and the door behind him, Lusius turned around and went outside. Or at least started to until he heard Draco ask the new girl if she'd join them. At that he paused and looked back curious to see if she'd come, but more so to see if he'd keep going regardless of her answer. Though on her face seemed to be curiousity itself, looking around for something and without an answer for Draco, Lusius left. Once outside and exposed to the crisp Winter air of the night he looked around to see what could possibly be going on. better yet what could possibly be either brave, stupid, or powerful enouogh to attack Seren's Folly. The town was legendary for housing so many Hunters and for anything to attack it would be crazy, or confident that they couuld beat all the might that Seren's Folly housed. No matter what chose to threaten Seren's Folly, Lusius was ready to defend it. His trusty blast forged sword at his side still in its sheathe, his formal attire hiding his studded armor beneath them, allowing him to stay ready for a battle and stay in a battle should he be struck. He was prepared as he'll ever be. Only question is, what was he preparing for?
