To be honest, I'm not a fan of Tauriel either, and I don't exactly ship her with Kili. So, we are kinda on the same page here. I liked her on-screen chemistry with Legolas, though :)

As far as the story goes, we won't be putting them together in this. Plus, the focus is on Saeril, and the sons of Durin; the key relationship between Kili and his godmother. Of course, between parent and child :)

So, the concluding point? We keep Tauriel in the story, but [i]not[/i] being shipped with anyone [s]that is not Legolas[/s]. 

I'll explain the rest of my ideas as we get further into the trilogy :)
