The instant Katya heard her apology was accepted by the Sargent. A sense of relief washed over her. Katya having been a little worried if the new Sargent was going to punish her for being late. However, it seemed this tiny Sargent wasn't all that bad. Merely warning not dawdle from this point on. Katya nodding. 
[color=Fuchsia]"Yes and thank you, ma'am."[/color] Katya quickly stated in reply before the Sargent looked away turning her attention to the others and the questions that were asked. Katya moving stand with rest of te squad for the rest of the briefing. Watching and listening everything that went on. Katya having to suppress a snicker when the Sargent stamped her foot. Finding the sight quite amusing. After all who wouldn't the girl looked like a young child throwing a tantrum. When they meeting was over and she was dismissed. Katya was quick to leave. Disappearing for several hours as found somewhere out of the way to study her Artemis Drones schematics again.

As the for day's passed Katya did what she could help Elise. Supported her in discussions offered suggestions when she could. Katya seeing it her job to help the little Sargent given she was the only one who wasn't a cadet. Katya was willing to do whatever Elise needed to help better command the squad. She always pushed herself, always giving her best. Feeling it was her duty to set an example. Outside of training Elise was the only new face to the Squad Sigma the Katya was willing to speak to. Although it was mostly as Elise outranked Katya and she didn't want to get on the Sargents bad side. That and her small stature made Katya think Elise was cute, which made Katya lower her guard. So was willing to talk. 

Krista and Devors however, were not so lucky. Katya refusing to speak with either of them for the first three days unless it was important and necessary. Katya looking she would bite their heads off if they dared bother her. By day for Krista didn't get that look. However, Katya wasn't willing to interact with her. Her free time during the four days Katya spent burying herself in werk schematics and any information Jake gave her.

When the day of the mission arrived. Katya made sure this time she was first to arrive at the briefing. Watching everything in silence. Her hands balling into fists when Elora was mentioned. Those wounds still fresh in Katya's mind. The young woman still blaming herself for Elora's capture whenever she wasn't doing anything. Since Elora's capture Katya was quick to anger when Elora was mentioned around her. When Ritsu asked if there were any questions Katya was about to speak and ask something. However, Zero beat her to the punch asking a total 6 questions which covered what she was about to ask. So decided to keep quite. Zero's last question sending a chill up Katya's spine. The idea this could be a Cruxi trap was unsettling. However, if it meant saving Elora Katya didn't care.
