[INDENT]The first thing that people glean from Auri that she is chubby. Thick. Curvy. Plump. Whatever you'd call it. From years of lack of exercise, and living in wealth, she has developed quite the apple body-shape. Her body is quite round, and this is due to her body being wide around the waistline. Auri's bust (48DDD's), waist, and hips have very similar measurements. Though she has a bit of a gut hanging off her stomach, she certainly isn't morbidly obese. She, at times, gets positive attention for her body-type, and she feels proud of her distinct, thick and full body type. 

Auri carries herself with a sort of "princess" vibe to her. A friendly and open aura that reeks of some form of royalty. Which is in a way true, since she's the granddaughter of a [i]very[/i] powerful woman within Europe (And America). Auri doesn't go out of her way to hide the fact that she's on the wealthy. That wealth is what contributed to her aforementioned frame. Even the way Auri walks - taking large steps - gives people an idea of what kind of person Auri is. Now, the other main thing that people glean from Auri's appearance is that she's French. Very obviously if one were to spend time around her. Auri's facial features are consistent with Western Europeans, and obviously, going off her heart-shaped features, and sharp facial-shape, she is French. Her skin is a creamy color, one that was developed from spending a healthy amount of time in the sun. Auri's nose is somewhat large, and she's told that she has that [i]button nose[/i]. Her nose-bridge is much thinner, and her nostrils are a tad smaller. Auri's lips aren't all that disproportionate from her nose, in fact. She was called blessed because she has rather thick, natural-shaped lips. Her ears are crescent shaped, and medium sized. Auri's eyes are very round, and have a light-blue color attached to them. All looks inherited from a line of French men and women. Due to spending a chunk of her life in Europe, she has a thick French Accent.

Auri has very few marks in the ways of scars, and whatever. She has a couple tiny scars from boo-boos, but so does everyone. Auri has a couple tats throughout the years. Auri's most notable tattoo is the [url=http://i.imgur.com/UeHhLJy.jpg]symbol of the White Spider Society[/url] tattooed on her chest right above her right breast. Depending on what she wears, she may show this tattoo - otherwise, she keeps it hidden due to avoid scrutiny. Most odd of all is that Auri has several tattoos of [i]apples[/i]. Finally, the last of Auri's most notable features has to be her hair. She has a wavy head of hair that she doesn't particularly style. She simply lets it flow, and boy does it move. It goes all the way to her back, and she has [i]lots[/i] of it. Auri's hair is a brown color, and she keeps it very well maintained.

[INDENT]Auri rarely changes the color of her clothing choice from red. Auri has access to a wide variety of different clothings, and this is another way people get the idea that Auri is rich. She likes to flaunt her fashion sense, and wears a wide variety of different clothing types. Blouses, dresses, skirts, button-ups, suits... whatever is red, and fits her mood. She really likes to wear a red fancy dress. These dresses are accented with a touch of lace. Auri's outfits in general can flip from modest, and fancy, to more sultry outfits that expose skin. Though, these outfits are always loose, and very rarely are they "skintight." These outfits also tend to accentuate her apple-build. Auri wears plenty of different jewelry. Bracelets, necklaces, earrings, you name it. Auri also has to wear glasses... but she sometimes switches them out for contact lenses. So she can literally be wearing glasses one day, and be without them the next.[/INDENT]

[b]Innate & Outward Personality:[/b][/color]
[INDENT]Auri is the exact opposite of what you'd expect from someone who is so close to the White Spider Society. Where they are professional, polite, and aloof above all else, Auri is open, friendly, and polite. Auri tends to act more like a party-girl than a proper member of the society. Preferring to go out and have fun, enjoying this new city she's found herself in, than do work. Which has made her somewhat of an odd-duck compared to the other, well-mannered, members of the society. Still, she'd proud of the woman she is. She tends to act like someone much younger than what she really is. Auri's a hedonist, and enjoys using her wealth to indulge in the physical pleasures in life. Partying, getting drunk, and things of the sort. She also enjoys befriending people... she's called very charming, and has used body language, and whatnot to "disarm" new acquaintances by throwing them smiles, and acting generally kind. Auri tends to speak with a thick French accent, and she likes to blanket many of her words with French phrases.

Though, years of wealth have made Auri quite spoiled, very pompous in fact. She hasn't realized how condescending, arrogant, and egotistical her ascribed status has made her. And she's casual about it. She feels like being born as a member of the society makes her far more important than other people. She also likes to flaunt her status at times with fancy clothes, and etc. A very lazy soul to her core, she would rather have fun than work. Auri hasn't really done anything for herself, and when a problem arises, she usually gets someone else to go handle it. Since everyone else filled that need thus far. She isn't really one for fights, or anything, because she's never truly been in one before, and doesn't want to change that any time soon. Auri will usually get the Society to go fight for her. In other situations, Auri would rather convince someone to do the hard work for her, so she can go have fun.

When faced with a less than desirable situation, Auri chooses not to take it head on. She usually flees when a fight breaks out. It's not cowardice, she ain't so soldier, and she leaves the fighting to the actual soldiers. Even if it isn't a fight, when Auri is faced with an angry person, she tends to fall apart, and retreat from the situation. You see, Auri is a tad oversensitive. She loves praise, but hates insults. She just doesn't know how to deal with an aggressive person. Auri would rather negotiate her way out of it, rather than take the problem on head on.

Because of the very nature of the White Spider Society, Auri is very sexually liberal. Auri is perfectly willing to respect other people's sexuality, and gender identities - even willing to help people explore them (Inside the Society, and out). One thing that Auri hates is when someone brings in anarchic ideals to regulate human sexuality, and it's one of the few things that she's willing to argue about. Still, if someone wishes to be conservative, she is fine with that long as they don't shove that into people's faces. The inverse is also true for sexually liberal people. Now, back to Auri, she is a very sexual woman. She likes romance as well, but she's sexually active. Auri is willing to indulge in more casual sexual relations, and long-term romantic relationships. Due to her sexuality being encouraged by the society, Auri is pansexual. She doesn't have any preference towards one gender, or sexuality, or the other. She's just willing to give everyone a try just as they are to her.

[INDENT]Trained by White Arachne herself, Auri has a variety of different skills underneath her belt. Most notably, due to traveling all over Europe, Auri is quadrilingual. She speaks her native French tongue the best, but she can also speak English (That's a given), German (Which was easier due to the similarities it has to French), and Czech (Though, she's gotten by speaking German and English there). She's no master at any of the languages other than French, and even then, she doesn't know her own language as well as she hopes she does. Reading these languages is great, but speaking them is a whole another discussion (She [i]often[/i] gets the three mixed up). The other skill that White Arachne personally taught her was [i]leadership[/i] and [i]management[/i]. In order to have a place within the Society, she would need to manage the buildings. Such as learning how to direct people, and whatnot. Her greatest talent would be her ability to forge connections to people in the highest places, and bargain a relationship between two parties. Which White Arachne herself calls diplomacy. Most of all, Auri possesses knowledge of the criminal underworld, and how they work, and how to get them to work for her. She knows how to find just the "right" person to do a job for her. Auri is also called very charismatic, and knows just how to get people to listen to her. While she's no master of manipulation, she's [i]convincing[/i] enough to get people to do as she says.[/INDENT]

[INDENT]To simply enjoy Baybridge and all that it has to offer. Auri simply wants to meet new people, have fun, and rise up within the ranks of the White Spider Society. Auri herself was born into the illustrious ruling family of the White Spider Society, the many daughters and sons that eventually leads back up to the matriarch, White Arachne. Auri's mother is just one of White Arachne's many daughters, who had seduced a French-man that's quite wealthy and influential. Just to expand the Society's connections to Europe, of course. Though, this wasn't the only reason why Auri was conceived, the society's family needed to be expanded. Now, Auri herself was born in Lyon, France, and that's the city in which she was born and raised. In wealth, however, due to the Society's immense profit, Auri had everything she needed out of life. A nice mansion (Along with several others of Arachne's descendants), money, and everything else that Auri could ever want. Nor was she alone. While she had butlers and maids to tend to all of her needs and wishes, she also had contact with the rest of the society who made sure that she had the love and attention she needed. Just so she'd properly develop the social skills she needed... which she'd definitely need later on in life.

Because Auri was going to be built up to be a [i]leader[/i]. One of many possible successors to White Arachne, Auri was trained to be one of the best. Attempting to give Auri the best social skills, leadership, and information about the world that'd be useful. However, she wasn't informed of what the Society was [i]really[/i] about, only because she was so young. Auri didn't particularly spend a lot of time in one place. Auri was sent all over Europe, where ever her mother needed to do work for the Society. Auri found herself spending time in Germany, Britain, the Czech Republic... and more. Though, she spent most of her time within the borders of France. She actually enjoyed seeing these different nations, and they are what really helped her expand her world-views a bit, and helped her develop a sense of joy. Regardless of where she went, Auri had the Society, and it's resources, behind her.

It would be ages before she actually gets to use those Society resources. Though, the biggest change within her life was when she developed her superpowers, when she was around thirteen. Auri was asleep when she subconsciously began to transform into an insectoid form. Her lower body started taking the shape of a centipede's, and she didn't realize what had happened until she woke up the very next morning. Then she freaked out. Her mother managed to come in, and explained what happened to her - that she had manifested her Metahuman ability. It wasn't long after that she had turned back into a human girl. Her mother told her to keep this a secret, as they didn't want to attract the attention of the DGMHS. However, she encouraged the young Auri to learn and explore her ability. Which is exactly what Auri did, starting with learning about what centipedes are. She eventually learned how to transform, and explored the limits and whatnot of her new form. In which she realized that she was a [i]behemoth in terms of strength[/i]. What was most important was that Auri learned to stop transforming.

Afterwards, Auri continued to grow and travel all throughout Europe, and kept in close contact with White Arachne. However, as Auri grew older, and more mature, she was let in on the Society's secrets, and eventually the true nature of the Society. At first she was apprehensive, but eventually came to accept them, as they were family, and started to take her place within the Society. She started out as a low level worker within the Society who managed the girls, that eventually moved up the ranks. She put those leadership skills that Arachne gave her to good use - even though she was pretty much a glorified secretary for the higher ranking. She soon made a name for herself as one of the Society's newest, and helped establish connections within Europe. 

However, those connections would eventually take her to the very top of France's leadership. Specifically, the DGMHS's Director Jean-Noel Buque had become infatuated with Auri. The two pursued a romance, Auri's mother said it was only to maintain the Society's strength (And to help keep the DGMHS off them), but Auri had felt genuine attraction to him. It would have to be a secret romance as the director had a family. The two became getting physical, and they were meeting within the Society's very clubs. However, it wasn't long until that family came catching up to the Director's sexual life. An investigator within the DGMHS was sent to investigate a possible corruption within the DGMHS. An investigation that ended with the former Director on top of Auri.

There was a huge outrage, and the former Director was shamed into resigning. Finding another replacement. However, it was around this time that Auri decided to head onto a different city, as there were a few people that gave her looks in France. Auri moved onto the Society's operation within the Czech Republic, Prague in fact. However... Prague wasn't as glamorous as she once thought. The Beast showed up in Prague, and went on a rampage. Auri and the rest of the Society were caught in the middle of it. Auri was trying her best to escape, but the Beast had confronted her directly. Auri had transformed into her centipede form to gain some mobility advantage, but the Beast utterly cut her down. He tore her centipede body up into pieces with stone, and badly burned her.

Burned her so badly that she would have died if it wasn't for the coalition that was formed to battle the Beast, that Auri would have died. She was quickly given medical attention, and stabilized. However, she had received horrible wounds... and White Arachne didn't want any of her grandchildren to suffer. 

Which is why they arranged to send Auri to America, they had a powerful healer in their ranks at their Baybridge branch. They managed to secure Auri an easy way into America, before she was whisked away to a strange and unfamiliar land. Which thing that they did was heal Auri, and they were about to ship her back off, before Auri declared that she wanted to spend some time in America as well. They couldn't refuse, as they gave Auri a low level managing position within the Baybridge branch within Strongriver Plaza. She began making a splash within the Society, and managing to forge connections with the various crime rings, and Metahuman regulation agencies. 

All while enjoying a little bit of Baybridge.

[INDENT]Auri has [i]no clue[/i] who her father is. Her mother refuses to tell her exactly who it was, but Auri theorized that he's a very powerful man within France's government (Or someone important like that). Though, she has little interest in finding out.[/INDENT]

Marie-Louise Auclair
[INDENT]Auri's mother, the woman who helped forge her into a successful member of the White Spider Society. Marie-Louise is a relatively low level member of the Society compared to her brothers and sisters, but she has close ties to White Arachne, and manged to forge enough connections to form a relationship with a very powerful man in France. Auri and Marie-Louise have a very close bond as Marie-Louise made sure to help forge Auri into a healthy young woman. Right now, she's currently in the Czech Republic, accessing the damage done to the Society's operations in Prague.[/INDENT]

White Arachne - Grandmother
[INDENT]White Arachne and Auri had a very distant relationship. She used to see the woman a lot when she was younger, as she was doing her best to forge Auri (and the rest of her grandchildren) into worthy successors. To Auri, White Arachne was more of a teacher, because she was so aloof towards her grandchildren that she didn't come off as a grandmother. Though, she gave Auri the wealth that she came to love so much. Nowadays, Auri barely even hears from White Arachne directly.[/INDENT]

Lilian & Viollette Croquetaigne - Aunts
[INDENT]Auri's two aunts within Baybridge. They're the ones who oversee the West Coast branch of the White Spider Society - operating inside of Baybridge. They're currently Auri's bosses as they order her around. Auri is in debt to them as they were the ones who took her in, and got her healed, after the horrific battle of Prague.[/INDENT][/hider]

[INDENT]Contrary to her weak, and unassuming appearance, Auri has an ability that can be considered... frightening. She has the ability to wrap herself in a massive cocoon. While cocooned, she is incubated and will transform her body into a frightening beast. After she emerges, she'll be a mixture of centipede, and woman. Auri's lower body will be comprised of a massive centipede's body (Based off [url=http://kafai.deviantart.com/art/Pitfall-405933082]this[/url]) which will be a mess of legs and carapace. Her features are almost exactly like a [url=http://reptiles4.weebly.com/uploads/2/8/5/2/28522669/s704568744144166509_p53_i8_w640.jpeg]Scolopendra gigantea[/url] in terms of appearance. Her lower body will be separated in segments, each segment will have two legs, and these legs are long and bony. Each going to work making Auri move. And when I say it's big, I mean it's [i]huge[/i]. Her centipede body will be at least twenty-five feet long, and will have many, many, legs. The state of Auri's upper body depends on whether or not she chooses to transform [i]that[/i] part of her as well. If not, she'll appear completely human but with a centipede for a lower body. If she does... then her skin and flesh will be surrounded with a tough exoskeleton. Her hands will be modified into strange leg-like appendages that are almost like blades - however, these are not merely legs. They're known in the science world as forcipules. They're sharp, and they contain a venom that her body naturally creates. This venom is so weak that it can't even do anything to a person other than make their skin a little red. Though it'd be [i]painful[/i] to get hit with it.

Enough wasting time with the appearance, time to go onto the strengths of this form. Auri's centipede body is incredibly durable. It's resistant to most kinds of blunt force - basic punches won't do much other than bounce off, but a baseball bat could crack the shell with enough force (And hurt that soft flesh underneath!). Super strengths and guns on the other hand, would wreck her. Though, she also has insectoid resilience. It isn't durability, but more of her ability to survive massive amounts of damage and keep going. Therefore her centipede lower body is capable of continuing functioning even after taking damage such as being blown in half, or being shot up (Through). Her strength has been enhanced in this form, she can lift up four-hundred-and-fifty pounds through sheer centipede strength. However, if you were under the impression that Auri would be slow and lumbering in this form, you'd be wrong. Centipedes are built for speed, which transfers to Auri. She can go at least twenty miles-per-hour and outrun your bitch ass. Whenever she moves, she makes a loud "clicking" sound because of her feet hitting the ground rapidly. The Centipede body is also very flexible, and allows Auri to preform some wicked feats that'd you'd expect a snake to do. She can scale walls with ease. Centipedes have the ability to detach their legs if they are caught by predators, and also regenerate them in time. Both of which are feats Auri is capable of, except at a faster rate. Auri's sense of smell is increased a bit, she can smell and track prey over incredible distances. This is one of the few abilities that transfers back to her human form, which gives her a similar level of smell.[/INDENT]

[INDENT]Auri's lower body (Or her centipede body) is incredibly durable, and makes her a dangerous threat in the right circumstances. However, her upper body (her [i]actual[/i] body) is a weakspot, as it contains, well, Auri. Her centipede body can be discarded, but wounds to that area will last, and require medical attention. The other restriction is that Auri needs [i]lots[/i] of room to move around. Being a twenty-five foot long centipede does that. Being indoors will be very limiting for her, and a clever foe can take advantage of that. Also, she can't do things like jump, or swim... due to obvious reasons.[/INDENT]
[color=Firebrick][b]Weaknesses/Drawbacks:[/b] [/color]
[INDENT]Auri needs time to transform into her powerful alternate form. She wraps herself in a cocoon for awhile, and needs to be immobile. While in this state, Auri is incredibly vulnerable. Anyone can just launch their strongest attacks against her, and easily interrupt her transformation. Setting the cocoon on [i]fire[/i] is a great way to get rid of her. Okay, so, say that you let Auri scamper away and transform, her centipede form has some weaknesses as well. This weakness is inherent to all centipedes, but she has [i]very[/i] bad vision. She won't be able to see colors, and she'll only be able to make out vague shapes. She mostly uses her sense of smell to go around, and that's enough to make sure that nobody gets the drop on her. Still, having poor vision is no fun. The other problem that centipedes go through is [i]dehydration[/i]. They don't have the coating that keeps liquid inside of them like other insects. Which leads to them losing liquids very fast. Which effects Auri as she'll quickly run out of water, and begin to suffer the effects of dehydration! Dizziness, dry skin, extreme thirst, etc. Auri's exoskeleton is resistant to physical force, but not energy and the sort. The element most dangerous to her is heat, as it can cook her carapace and cause immense damage to it. Electricity can also fry her like a bug. Also, using her strength puts pressure on her exoskeleton that can lead to it breaking, and injuring herself in the process. Finally, Auri can't stay in this form for long because her body can't sustain such a giant form for long. Auri's limbs will begin to lose bloodflow, and she'll be [i]forced[/i] to abandon it or risk death. This gets worse if Auri has been injured.[/INDENT]
