Willard

Assignment: Attend briefing - Interacting with [@King Tai][@Wick]
Willard looked from person to person as his name was brought up, still unsure what was going on entirely, but picking up the jist of things pretty quickly when the words "child", "testing", and "organization" filled the air. Willard watched as Blaque went to the bar to take a sip of his tea - surely the man knew what would be best, but Willard still couldn't help but notice as everyone tensed and their colors changed, indicating that half of them completely opposed the idea of Willard getting involved. He knew that if he spoke, his words would only be drowned out - so as each person said their piece, Willard slumped further down in his chair as the thought of having to sit this one out sank in. Still, even Mr. Darric provided some support toward Willard, saying he was willing to watch over the youth. Willard looked to the man expectantly - only to meet his gaze, and Willard smiled up at him. Willard wanted to prove himself useful to the group, and was willing to do what he could to help - the worry of failure disappearing as a new hope stirred inside the small heart. Once more, Willard glanced over at Blaque - his color, his demeanor, it was difficult to read. It seemed like it was debating with itself, like there were two different Blaques fighting each other. But Willard really had a hard time telling what was going on. Please, Blaque... I can do this! He thought to himself, before taking a huge gulp out of his root beer float, smiling, satisfied with yet another delicious drink.
