She listened to the arguments seeing benefit in each approach but keeping her own counsel as she’d been taught by her Mistress Echo. The others had their agenda and she her own which was to develop her own reactions spontaneously in the hope that she could achieve sentience, true sentience. Presently she was able to pass the Turing Test along with other tests designed to define sentience but she knew deep down that there was something missing, something undefined and until she discovered what that was she wouldn’t feel whole. Of course she was broadcasting it all back to Echo hoping the reclusive young biological would grant them her ability to process information on a scale that staggered even her but it seemed as if her Mistress was listening only and had found no point on which to make comment or offer an opinion. Her inaction left Delta in the unenviable position of observer waiting as others decided her fate.
