Adrian sighed and rubbed his hand through his hair as he sat down at his computer. It had been a long day for him and it was just now he managed to get some time to game. What did he do first? He opened up the game labeled "Chronicles of Eden," a game recommended to him by a friend. It seemed alright at the title and he had no complaints about the character customization. But then, it happened. Adrian had suddenly blacked out after sparks of electricity had shot out from his computer. Was he dead? Was He unconscious? Who knew. When he did wake up, he covered his eyes. Why was it so bright and where was he? The last he checked, his attic didn't have any working lights. After what he assumed was a few minutes, he removed his hand and opened his eyes. What did he see first? He saw that he was outside, clearly not even at his home anymore. His surroundings were rather strange. Wooden buildings in disrepair were all around him and stalls with people manning them, but that was not what had caught his attention. What had caught his attention was the fact that there were people all around him, names above their head along with the name "Cyphos" above his. Wasn't that the name he had put in for his character? He rubbed his chin as he hummed. If a name was above his head and he wasn't home, does that mean he is in Chronicles of Eden? The thought had perplexed him. When has anyone heard of people being trapped in games outside of fantasy novels and anime? Putting aside the thought, he looked at those at the stalls. Some of the players had been yelling at people who were behind stalls. Was it possible that those behind the stalls were players as well? Possibly, possibly not. Adrian frowned as he started walking towards a tall building that stood out from all the rest. Hopefully, he can find some of his friends that said they were going to play. And if not, well... he'll just have to figure it out from there.
