[@cloudystar]Khalid knew he should have been interacting more and putting himself out there, but he felt such a foreigner and wasn't even sure how to start. That was how he found himself heading over to the refreshment table. He got himself a drink and some pastries then made his way over to the chairs nearby to sit and eat when he noticed a young man, already sitting there, but his eyes were closed. 

Initially, Khalid panicked a little. He was getting better at understanding people, but he thought they only kept their eyes closed for such long periods if they were sleeping - or worse. 

"Sir?" he asked, sitting next to the young man. "Are you alright?"
