[@Lady Amalthea]I'm sorry for my partaking in this too, I have been lazy and postponed in too many times. It will not happen again. On another note, here's my new CS. I fixed the issues, just tell me what else might be in need of changing. Rough workman's pants, sturdy boots, well-worn shirts and a red scarf is a trademark for him, as well as a side cap. His prefers to keep his stub-beard as it has been ever since he first got it, and his hair combed to the sides. He is a man of absolutes, a world of black were there's right and wrong, where he of course does his best to follow the right option. This means that, as a self-proclaimed Marxist-Leninist, Francesco is willing and ready to help those he sees as in need of help; beggars, poor farmers without land, factory workers without [s]their well-deserved[/s] worker's rights and everyone else who is oppressed by the bourgeoisie. To them he's empathetic and does his best to help them in their struggles, be it through charitable work or, sometimes violently, taking matters into his own hands. As for the people of the upper classes, he tolerates their presence but with little joy. A conversation to many have ended up with the other part being punched in the face. With no formal education beyond his teens, it is by being quick-minded and decisive that he's been able to survive this long in his line of work. Even if his methods might be sometimes painful and violent, even reckless, he is convinced that a decision taken and acted upon is best done sooner rather than later. Since he came back from his foreign stay after the Great War, he was in dire need of employment, seeking to work in his native homeland of Egypt. Without an higher education, he took up the occupation as a construction worker in Cairo. The real reason for Francesco's stay in Cairo, is his affiliation with the local communist party and their superiors, all the way back in the USSR. Having first-hand experience with Egypt, he was seen as invaluable to the success of the Egyptian Communist Party in the coming world revolution. Francesco himself asking to be operating in Cairo also helped his superiors in deciding where to place him, but good for them that he didn't reveal his growing urge to be there because of strange dreams. Life Before You Moved To Cairo: Francesco is a third-generation Italian-Egyptian, having grown up in the sea port of Port Said, Egypt. His family first arrived back in 1856 to work on the construction of the Suez Canal. His grandfather, Antonio Gasperi worked at the Canal setting explosives in what was a massive feat of engingeering, while his father, Silvio Gaspari opened a shoe-shop in the center of Port Said. Francesco was expected and himself expecting to inheret once the time came. He spent most of his childhood and teenage years in and around that shoe-shop, spending more time crafting shoes and reparing soles than at the local, Catholic school which his English mother still forced him to attend; his textbooks were of little interest to him for reasons he himself didn't understand. At least not then. Only history interested him, especially of Italian heroes who sacrificed everything for their motherland. Farmers, craftsmen and sailors who became legends. And that was what Francesco too wanted to become. That's why he watched with anticepation once the Great War broke out; if and when Italy would join the titanic struggle of nations, he would join. Long story short, he enlisted in the Italian army and was first assigned to Italian Libya, where he saw little to no action except combatting local guerillas. The lack of action was getting to him, when he was transfered to the very epicenter of the Italian War front; The Alps. At first he didn't understand why he was sent there as his skills in Arabic and tolerance to the desert heat best fitted the North-African front. It soon became apparent to him though. He was nothing more than cannon-fodder, and that was exactly what the generals wanted. High up on those mountains of endless death and destruction, Francesco understood why he disliked school, the teachers and other figures of authority he had met throughout his life. None cared for nothing other than enpowering themselves, using the poor and less fortunate ones to fulfill their selfish desires. From the priests taking the money from their poor followers to the generals throwing innocent lives into the meat grinder, Francesco slowly but surely found himself attracted to his fellow comrades who spoke of Marxism, Socialism, a class-less society and world-revolution. An (un)fortunate accident which nearly buried him alive and thus sent him to hospital, made it possible for him to dwell into the works of his new heroes. Heroes he wanted to help with all his might. As it turned out, helping them in a best way possible was in the Russian Civil War once the Great War itself was over. While he did fight, his primary line-of-work there involved being taught Socialist theories and practial advice of spreading said theory and gathering support. And with said knowledge, he was sent back home to Egypt to prepare for the coming world-revolution. Life Since You Moved To Cairo: It was strange at first to be back in the land he used to call his 'homeland', a term he learned only held true value to the bourgeoisie as a means of misguiding the People. But he soon felt at home again after so many year's absence, seeking out new and old friends alike in hopes of getting help. While not having prepared the whole of Cairo's proletariat for an armed revolt, he has spread more illegal flyers, nailed up countless posters at factory doors and held numerous Worker's and Farmer's meetings to enlighten the People of the coming class war. Francesco is only getting bolder in his actions, and the increasing heat on his neck from the local authorities is a sure sign of it. But it isn't that that's bothering him these days; it is the constant dreams of a certain ring that seems to cloud his mind.
