The week had passed rather quickly, all things considered. The boarding school, which Daichi was forced into because of his long distance from home, assigned two people per room... Which was rather scary... Daichi was given a room with the boy Aki and, luckily, he was accepting of Daichi's gardening. After saying farewell to his roommate, Daichi quickly bought several pots, multiple bags of soil, a shiny new watering can, and a Cherry Blossom seed. This was all he had to hold him over until the next day, where his shopping spree continued and encompassed 3 orange blossoms, a single germanium, 2 daises, and a Bonsai tree. The Bonsai was placed directly next to his bed (Which was far larger than Aki's and, presumably, all the others'), while his flowers were strewn around his side of the room. The Sakura was planted directly outside of the boarding home, closer to the building itself then the gate. Setting up the stands and proper equipment consumed the rest of his time, and by Friday, his garden was complete... Or, as complete as his budget would allow. Aki had been nice to allow this all to go on, and Daichi really didn't care to much for his love of books. After all, reading was fun, but he read such big books... Classes went by as Daichi expected, with him flailing miserably in every single class except PE and English. Everything that the teacher said simply passed through Daichi's mind, with no attempt at making it understandable to the monster of a boy. Daichi found a new thing he has to spend his time on after taking care of his garden... Trying to find enough extra credit to stay afloat.
Friday was something that Daichi had never expected to be so tiring. After the usual series of intense, mind-numbing classwork, the entire class was driven to what looked like a small city. The buildings were so life like, and it was a wonder that they would be allowed in this place. Daichi listened intently to the teacher speak, and began to salivate when he heard the magic words: Extra-credit. A hostage situation was a lot better than stealing or hurting someone, but it would be very dangerous... Mr. Isshin was a nice person, based on the little amount of him Daichi had seen at school. It would be a shame to hurt him. Luckily, villains don't hurt hostages! R-right?! All Daichi had to do was keep them safe from the heroes. Daichi shifts uncomfortably, his extra-large gym uniform biting into him slightly. He began to walk forwards and grabbed one of the communicators, before walking into the small metropolis. Deciding not to trust his wits, Daichi instead followed the Villain group as they made their way into their city, and split off to follow the cocky one, Ken. He seemed to have a plan, and Daichi had to do everything he could to win this. Extra credit, Extra credit, Extra credit... Ken's message buzzed through the communicator, and Daichi found himself worried. That was less of a plan, and more of a basic guideline... Daichi instead ran off towards the Isshin clone nearby, before grabbing it and quickly making his way to a single, rundown building. There, Daichi locked the clone into a closet, and planned to gather more, until he noticed his 4 minutes were up. He quickly made his way into the closet, an unbearably tight squeeze with the clone in there as well, and held the door shut. The plan Daichi followed was simple: Select an area randomly and guard a single clone very closely. And the situation was quite secure: To enter the closet which Daichi was holding shut, one would have to either break down the door and risk slamming Daichi into the hostage, or break down a wall. And while they decide this, they wouldn't even know if anyone was in the closet to begin with/ Either way, the heroes would have to find Daichi first! Daichi shivered at that last thought, and quickly pondered whether or not the fact that this villainous plan came to him so easily was bad. Shaking the thought aside, Daichi reached to his communicator, and echoed out a comment, which was hard to do because of the cramped area he was currently crammed inside of... "I-I have one of t-the c-c-clone here. W-we're in an a-abandoned b-building near the s-s-starting location. N-No backup r-required." Daichi briefly considered putting his hand over the clones mouth, but that thought was dismissed. It would be pretty mean to do that, and it was hard enough to breath in this tight space anyways.
