Age: 25 Appearance: Mark has pretty long, blonde hair that he hides under his mask and he has decently tanned skin. Backstory: Marcus was born in Empire city and grew up as a pretty short tempered child. He lived in a painstakingly average middle class household where he spent most of his early days playing at home by himself. There wasn’t any one thing that kept Marcus in solitude but a combination of factors led him to being decently socially inapt when he was younger which resulted in him being bullied a fair amount in the likes of preschool up to the second grade. After preschool however, Mark hit a growth spurt and finally hit his breaking point, resulting in him beginning to pick on others to make himself feel better about himself. This continued on right up until the end of high school. Marcus’s grades weren’t good, he was a decently smart person, but he was a slacker and just didn’t do most of the assignment he was given in school which made his option for education after high school equal little to none. Seeing as Marcus had already been working as a janitor in a small arcade for a while, he simply decided to keep going with his job and find out what to do with his life later on in life. Days began meshing into one another and soon Marcus had been stuck in his dead end janitor job for two years and apparently no better future in sight. Mark began spirally into a state of depression which continued to worsen by the day. At Mark’s lowest point he was contacted by one of his few friends from high school and invited to a halloween party that they were hosting. This would have brought Mark back from the brink and got him out of his house and doing something other than his job though this isn’t exactly how the events played out. Marcus got his costume together (a Luchador costume that he managed to make out of things he found at a dollar store and things he had around his home) got out the door and headed to his friends house for the party… only to find out he was two days to early. Mark felt very embarrassed by the whole ordeal and began to walk home in a very bad state of mind. As Mark was walking he absent mindedly made his way near the fringes of town where he stumbled upon an unsightly scene strewn out before him. There was one of those monster with the gemstones on them chasing after a family. Mark was naturally frightened of this but rather than run away, Marcus dashed towards the creature, figuring this was as good a way as any to go out. The beast got quite a few hits on Marcus, with him being able to just barely being able to stand up time after time, but before the final blow was struck, some of the more humanoid gem-people showed up and quickly turned the beast to dust and were off without another word. Mark was a little stunned to say the least but he decided to check on that family and see how they were doing. The family was overjoyed that the monster was now gone and thought that Marcus was the one who did it. Mark was about to explain the situation to them and how this had basically been a failed attempt to get himself hurt but he then saw the potential that he now had to extort. He told the family that he had taken down the monster and saved them which seemed plausible enough to the frazzled family. Soon word began to get around about Mark’s dabble in heroics and parents began asking him to show up at their children’s parties. Mark now had a new form of income and it was infinitely more gratifying than being a janitor. Mark continued working his hero angle and after five years he’s become a local celebrity Abilities/Skills: Marcus excels in hand to hand combat thanks to taking wresting in high school and his numerous martial arts instructors that he now employs with he decent wealth. He is in nearly peak human condition and as such he can hold his own against most of the thugs that reside in Crystalisis. While Marcus’ main form of offence is his numerous forms of martial arts, he is also training with melee weapons such as staves and sword play though his skill with these are pretty abysmal at the moment. Misc: >Mark lives in a penthouse sweet in one of the biggest buildings in Crystalisis. >Mark will have a strong distrust and hatred of gems to begin with but he’ll keep his hatred underwear’s for the sake of appearance. >Marcus’ most prized possession is his motorcycle that he calls the ’Thunder-Cycle’ simply because it sounds cool. The Thunder-Cycle’s most defining feature is it’s rad sidecar and flames paint job. >Mark has a motorcycle helmet that has the same design as his mask. >Marcus doesn’t have much of a secret identity and as such he often times just goes by Mark, Marcus or Mr.Mettleton but most kids and fans will call him by his heroic name >Bow to the Queen

Name: Tug (informally), Tugtupite (formally) Gem: Tugtupite Appearance:

Gem Placement: Shoulder Blade Gem Item:Eskirma Sticks Powers: Tug is capable of replicating herself to a very large degree with her largest number reached being twenty copies, however, every time she copies herself she and her copies get weaker. She can only make around four or five copies on Earth before the atmospheric pressure and gravity poof her and her clones. Additionally Tugtupite can summon hexagonal, modular shield allowing her to protect herself from all manner of physical and energy based attacks though these shield are not nearly as strong as the likes of Stevens, hence their modular design. Terrakinesis is another power Tugtupite possesses allowing her to subject the earth to her will. This is by far her strongest power allowing her to float through the air on a suspended slab of earth or bash others with heavy rocks. Tug is also capable of ‘reading’ others to an amazing degree. This power allows her to deduce various facts such as their mental state and, with enough time, even able to predict their first action (after their initial action her predictions get less and less accurate). Backstory:
Tug was a 2nd era Tugtupite gem and originally created with a lack of any of her powers. She was assigned to overseeing colonization projects on various planets where she would mostly work on setting up kindergartens and looking to optimize gem production with the growing increase in inapt gems such as herself. However, while she fulfilled her main roll of caretaker over various kindergartens, she also began to delve a little deeper into the likes of gemetics and see what truly made a gem tick so to speak. As she continued her research she began to do experiments on gems deemed to defective to be used by Homeworld and soon came to an astonishing discovery. Through her research she managed to induce a rapid gestation process in an already formed gem, essentially allowing them to finish their development in a fraction of the time and produce some previously unheard of effects such as changes in maximum hard-light mass or different powers altogether. Of course this process had its drawbacks such as the need for countless other gem specimens to be sacrificed for just one gem to develop properly and if the gem’s cognitive functions hadn’t developed properly to start with, they would stay in their unaltered state of mind, essentially making the process useless. Tugtupite took her research findings to her gem and asked to be reassigned so that she may work on the process and hopefully find a better and more efficient way of fixing malformed gems and turning them into valuable units. Tug was granted her wish and sent to Earth under the leadership of Bloodstone where she could further her studies into the inner workings of gems and take down the rebellion that had rooted itself on the planet as well.
Other: -She once had a metaphorical heart of gold that came with attempting to raise so many beings from the menial wastes of a planet but she has since become much less nurturing since delving full time into her new studies. -Contrary to most Homeworld Gems, Tugtupite doesn’t hate humans and even idolizes some for their advances in their own sciences, some of which she has been trying to replicate with gem technology such as cloning, lobotomization and transfusion to name a few. -While the workings of human and gem bodies are Tug’s specialty, she is capable of building machines with some degree of finesse though not nearly to the degree of someone more devoted to the process. -Bow to the Queen
