[@Burning Kitty][@Masterkeun][@VitaVitaAR][@Kafka Komedy][@Nerevarine] It was day on this world. Magnus stopped, considering himself close enough to the city of humans that he could scry for more information. He lifted his left hand while his right held his weapon. Oh how weak his magic had become. Still, with relatively minimal concentration, he projected his senses, perceiving a location inside the city. He saw mostly ordinary humans, mortals, but what he found shocking was that there were absolutely no sign of the influence of the Imperium of Man. He flicked his consciousness in a few different directions, just to be sure, and indeed, there was no sign of his enemy faction... yet. As he psychically looked around, he saw a number of very strange things. Magic users, a strange woman walking the slums, a boy with blue hair, a large pink strange kind of power armor with... a girl inside it?? There was a temple, a bazaar, buildings made of simple earth.... Suddenly the screech of a wild beast made Magnus withdraw his attention. Fairly close to him, some creature was under attack for its meat. A well-armored human with strange tech weapons was killing it with... a knife? Magnus obscured his presence and watched him as he dragged the carcass back to a ramshackle fort. Two others were there. It was a small squad of warriors who appeared to be biding their time. It wasn't long before the two males departed, leaving the female alone. Surely these humans were of a different faction than the feral ones back in the archaic city. How had he not noticed them before? No matter. With those kind of guns and armor, there was a good chance their kind also had space travel. That meant, they were worth interrogating. A large, red, demonic looking figure with huge wings suddenly appeared to be standing amongst the trees outside the makeshift fort in view of Nicole. Half of Magnus' form was obscured by plantlife, but it was clear he was staring at her from a relatively safe distance. The figure held a long glaive with a curved blade on one end, and his armor was ornate with two fierce looking horns coming out of his chestplate. The sight was needless to say, alarming, but the winged creature wasn't doing anything immediately threatening. Magnus waited for her reaction. (Some of you might have sensed a magic-based or psychic presence in the city which you might be able to follow.)
