She doesn't need to. She'll take one look at him, figure him to be some sort of freak and then proceed to beat him up for no reason other than that. She's generally a good reader of people, let alone if he opens his fat mouth.
EDIT: Also I'm sure there would be plenty of rumours swirling around if he's rich enough to own a mansion. The Celestia network is vast.
Oh and just so everyone else knows the Celestia Manor is [i]not[/i] located in the city. It's located a few hours out from the city.
