I got the info from [url=http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Devon_Corporation]bulbapedia[/url] and was referencing its origins as a small mining company based in Rustboro, rather than the massive SilphCo equivalent it becomes. The company has a very long standing history in Hoenn. Much longer than the time gap listed on the OOC page.

If you're saying it doesn't exist in this version of Hoenn, I don't remember seeing that stated anywhere.
