Taylor thanked Amelia for the glass of water, and he gulped down some. His Adam's apple bobbed twice when he swallowed, as he put down the half full glass. He hummed as he stood up, and stretched his arms again. He was already going restless. "I'd like to go for a walk-" he began, "you could show me the good spots in the city?" Taylor rolled his shoulders, feeling the bones move around and his muscles relax. He fiddled around with his fingers, looking a little anxious but awaited her answer. If he knew a little about the city, it'd be easier for him to navigate if shit burned down. Amelia was his only hope in ever getting home..- Taylor might even have paled a little. He'd been so interested and occupied in Amelia and her work, that he didn't had thought about getting home. How was he ever getting home anyways? It wasn't like they could rebuild a functional time machine.. Right? [@ineffable]
