"Kili?", Fili felt his brother's weight give out next to him, going down to leaning into him. "Kili!?", Saeril saw him fall, and he looked like he was about to pass out. Hurrying to catch him, and before he could fall to the ground, the hooded she-elf cradled him. Moving his ebony black hair from his face, he was in pain. Please, not now, she thought to herself. "Come on", she told the others as she held Kili in her arms, carrying him closely against her chest. Her motherly instincts were kicking in now. Saeril went to the bargemen's house, knowing that his place was best for sanctuary; Fili, Bofur, and Oin following. Once Bard opened the door, he was not pleased. "Please, bargeman, we need sanctuary", she was now begging. "No. I’m done with dwarves, go away!", he was about to close the door, but she stopped it with a mighty hand. "Bard! Kili needs help, and this is the best place to do it. There's nowhere for us to go", she heard whimpering in pain, and she held her godson close, a sign that she was there with him.
