So for you guys: After a short while you will spot a vessel that is hit by an asteroid. This is ofcourse after some banter between the three of you (doctor, spice addict and kid) for which I will give you both controll of the kid. He is scared but also trying to hide it behind bravado, I have faith in you acting him out ok!. Back to the vessel: It is clearly hit by an asteroid.

The doctor will recognize it for what it is: An Imperial science vessel, due to markings etc.

Closer inspection will yield that the accident happened not to long ago and that the engines are the primary impact.
scanning for lifeforms is hard due to the interference of debris etc.

Due to Jax not being done with the network yet you cannot reach others to report the sighting.

After spotting some valuables left to your own description and performing some harrowing maneuvers to avoid asteroids Caster spots a pair of Tie fighter scouting in the distance. you are not sure if it has seen you yet and comms aren't up yet to report back to the swift fortune, you can however reach Valana . I will give you freedom to describe any dogfight or other scenario that would ensue. You can cleanly kill or dispose of both relying on your superior pilotting and ship ( I rolled for this).

Should Caster not ask for Valana's help her path would bring her towards the plot point Korkoa and almegossum are after. Feel free to than read that bit and consider yourself on the same knowledge basis as the doctor. Should you want post earlyer than Caster we can reverse roles: you spot the TIE Fighters.
