This is going to be a simple interest check, but anyone who had read The Skull Harvest by Graham McNeill, Renegades by Gav Thorpe, and/or Honour Among Fiends by Dylan Owen or the Soul Drinkers novels will know where I'm going with it; in the shortest and most basic terms I intend to run a pretty open RP where we are the bad guys - I tried this once in the past, and it worked quite well, and would have gone on if not for my own laziness.

The setting shall be the 42nd Millennia, the most present timeline, with Cadia and generally the entire Milky Way in turmoil of one sort or another...well, more than usual anyway. Players will be able to write anything from a Cultist to a Chaos (or Renegade) Astartes, possibly Dark Eldar or Minor Xenos as well. Combat is expected, as are mature topics of various types, so if you're of a younger age please refrain from joining.

More will be revealed in the IC, but I thought I'd just pop this up and see who'd be interested in fighting for the Dark Gods (or not) while combining different elements of the 40k universe to make it enjoyable.

Any questions, ask them.

S'all for now.

@JbcoolSo I'm thinking an AWOL guardsman who's trying to keep his head low, but (probably) gets caught up in things he doesn't understand.

So you're thinking of a mixed-species gang of space criminals? If so, I'm totally down to play a Dark Eldar corsair.

@BCTheEntity Possibly be a bit more killing than An Unholy Mass, but I've been reading a lot of heretical novels at the moment and thought I might give it another whirl.

Thanks for your interest.

If da spikey 'umies an' da panzees are in, ya gotz ta 'ave a ork!

Seriously, though, I've been looking for an excuse to play a weirdboy for a while now. An ostracized shaman from a feral clan who is convinced khorne and tzeentch are just what humans and eldar call Gork and Mork, to be specific.

So, if you're still taking applicants, I'd be more than happy to be your psyker!

For what it's worth, I think that's a fantastic concept, @Necroes.

Ya mean Mork an' Gork, ya bleedin' halfwit git! Mork's da wun wif da cunnin' brootallitee, an' Gork's got da brootal cunnin'!

Anyway, I like that idea. Let's hope he doesn't make anyone's head blow up. And just to clarify for certain, @Jbcool, it'd be okay for me to bring Lucius back for this game, right? Modified to suit this game's story and setting of course. More fighting might even suit him better than what he had going on in An Unholy Mass, considering.

@Necroes While I like the idea, there is a reason that Orks aren't generally corrupted - Gork and Mork don't like it. There's also that Weirdboyz are supposed to be touched by the green gods themselves. But hey, if two of my 'regulars' think it's a good idea, who am I to say no?

@BCTheEntity Sure, Lucius is more than welcome.

@Jbcool Brilliant. To play Chaos' advocate about Orks not usually working for Chaos, it's entirely possible that mister Shaman isn't technically Chaos-corrupted- he does believe Khorne and Tzeentch are just Gork and Mork Mork and Gork by different names, after all- but nonetheless works alongside actual allies of Chaos, who logically are also working for Mork and Gork Gork and Mork even if they're calling them weird names and getting powers other Orks usually don't get from them, because they're the best gods, right? (By the way, @Necroes, feel free to snatch that as a reason why an Ork is present in the otherwise-Chaotic party if you don't have any other ideas for how that might work out. I'm sure you do, but better safe than sorry.)

@Jbcool Yea, @BCTheEntity basically called it. The idea is that he genuinely believes Khorne and Tzeentch are actually Gork and Mork. The only point of difference is that no one is entirely certain which god(s) he's actually serving the will of at any given point in time, let alone in general.
Though originally gifted by Gork and Mork, he used his powers to dabble in the dark arts of the spiky 'umies, making deals with many a daemon and chaos entity along the way. His wicked ways come to a head after he's captured by sky 'umies wearing blue and gold armor what don't talk. Once aboard their flyin' boat, he escapes 'iz guard and flees to his clan. Apparently, 'iz name 'ad gotten passed around by the daemons he liked to summon, and some git named Air-man was lookin' for 'im. Things don't go according to plan, 'e steals a book written by some red git, then gives it to some crazy panzees that want it for der boss's collection so they'll rescue him. While he's away, havoc befalls his clan as a result of his debt to the daemons, and when he tries to return they cast him out, forcing him to accept the panzees' offer to take him somewhere he'll be safe.
When all is said and done, no one involved is entirely sure if he's an agent of the ork gods, the chaos gods, cegorach, or maybe even Mephet'ran. That said, in his mind, he is adamant that he is a servant of the Great Green Gods.

All subject to necessary scrutiny and change, of course.
