Biography: Dalious was born to a whore and a sellsword.  His mother died at birth, and his father years later in battle.  He was taken in by an orphanage at a young age, though he soon ran away on his own to make his own life for himself.  He, as a teenager, became a successful thief, and soon managed to join a band of bandits known as the red flag gang.  Here, he learned simple tactics of sword fighting and mercenary work, but it only lasted until he was a young man.  The gang was eventually captured and/or killed by members of Chief Kisarin's tribe.  Dalious, along with his lover at the time, fled by sea.  They eventually were attacked by pirates, of which he lost his love to, but soon after gaining his vengeance on the matter, he created his own band of sailors that followed him.  This was to be his way of life until his end, but a few of his pirate companions betrayed him and his most loyal, once Dalious made a name for himself.  He was shortly captured and sentenced to be hung.

Roleplay timeline:
-Dalious and a few of his loyal pirate companions were sentenced to be hung, but H'Kelan forces attacked the village at unawares allowing him to escape by horseback.
-Found nearly dead, Dalious was healed and taken in by Cyril, prince of Barcea, and his company.  The prince took them to Gurata, looking for an answer to solve the H'Kelan problem.
-Dalious chose to fight with Cyril in the Arena battles, in respect for saving his life.  Cyril's team won the games, and with it they achieved more allies.
-Looking to become rich, Dalious again followed the prince back to his homeland, swearing to aid him in the coming war.  He participated in the battle at the border with H'Kelans.  Dalious fought and slew many, remaining unscathed in the fight.
-Next was the assassination attempt on the castle, when most were resting from the previous attacks.  Through a great dark power, seemingly immortal assassins silently attacked.  Dalious survived again, having seen true and dark magic being performed.
-The company moved to the Lady Renata's safe haven, where the pirate learned new arts and trained for the upcoming war.
-Dalious fought in the battle against Gartian, which was a victory, however he suffered great injury.  His jaw was broken by the advisor, just before the fight was won.

Skills/Strengths: Sailor.  He has been traveling the oceans for most of his adult life.  He can swim like a seal and moves well in water.  Thievery.  Is silent in the shadows and moves around like a cat.  Swordsman.  Prefers two swords in combat, as that is what he has trained with the most.  However, his current weapon of choice is a katana with a dragon crest on the steel, created by the Barcean blacksmith.  Strategy.  Has won all of his battles at sea due to being more cunning than his opponents.  He can read the wind changes well, and knows how to not get surrounded.

Flaws/Weaknesses: Has a weakness for booze, money, and women.  So much so that the desire for one of those things could easily be a trap for him that ends his life (and he knows this).  Is Prefers one on one combat where he thrives, but is little to nothing against magic.  He considers magic unfair. 

Weapons/Equipment:  Katana with a dragon etching along the steel.  A blunderbuss, which he made himself (and that doesn't really work all that well).  He stuffs the weapon with anything really, and it is only good for close range.  Tiny Bombs, small enough to pack many and powerful enough to turn a man inside out.  Bow/arrows/spears/knives- weapons he doesn't necessarily carry, however he is effective with them all.

Dalious is handsome and athletically fit.  Years of swimming have sculpted the man's body into a chizzled masterpiece (as he would call it).  He has tattoos all over his back and arms of rare maps and other sea related things, such as compasses, creatures, ship layouts, etc.  

He has a hard, firm jawline and fair skin, though it is often covered by his facial hair.  His eyes are brown, and his hair comes down to his shoulders.  He has brownish/blonde locks, but at the right setting of the sun, his hair may look golden.
