He's still hunted by his fellow Immortal Weapons, but the Iron Fist Killer hasn't started stalking him and while part of him is content to just rest in relative obscurity until he crumbles into dust another deeper part of him might still be driven to heroics under the right circumstances. In short I want to explore Orson Randall's character at what is ultimately an important period of transformation and transition for not only the man himself but the legacy of the Iron Fist and the world as a whole while also establishing what it means for him and his title to exist in this new Singular Universe. The self-proclaimed 'Emperor of Hypothetical Science!' is able to work out a deal with the leaders of the city that ensures Orson is adopted as one of their own. 1904: Orson Randall formally begins training under Lei-Kung the Thunderer, weapons master of K'un-L'un. 1914: Orson Randall wins the right to challenge Shou Lao the Undying and defeats the immortal dragon in single combat, becoming the 35th person to bear the mantle of the Immortal Iron Fist. Shortly thereafter he leaves K'un-L'un to help correct the great disturbance in the world's chi caused by World War One. 1918: Orson Randall is summoned back to K'un-L'un to partake in the Heart of Heaven tournament. Traumatized by the horrors of war, Randall refuses to participate in yet another pointless battle. In the ensuing struggle Randall kills the Crane Daughter, a fellow Immortal Weapon. Marked for death, Orson steals the Book of the Iron Fist and flees K'un-L'un. 1940: Orson Randall lives in hiding in Marseilles, France. Using opium and alcohol to dull the presence of his chi, he feels the taint of war growing in the world once again but so far is content to fade away in obscurity.
