Seeing the complete and utter destruction that Shane created below her, there were a few possible reactions that one would consider normal. Kusari was not normal however, Kusari was watching as if she were witnessing a masterpiece being painted before her eyes. Those crystals were like modern art, only not shit. She had to cover her mouth to hide the quivering grin on her face, after all what would the others think if they saw her smiling at such a sight? The enthralling show had to come to an end of course, which left her to deal with the reality of what she'd been through, what they'd all been through. Couldn't she just skip this part? She heard commotion around her, people yelling and crying. No one could blame them, they were just kids forced to fight for their lives, a few had lost that fight even. She sat down and hugged her knees close to her body. Her long hair covered her like a shredded alabaster blanket. With all the viscera covering her she must have looked like a ghost from a slasher movie. She needed to get stronger, even if she couldn't stop everyone from dying, she could at least try. She was distinctly qualified as someone that could put their life on the line and come out of it just fine. Having her skull cracked open wouldn't be a problem, having her throat ripped open wouldn't be a problem... as she'd recently learned the hard way. She could take the fall for all of them again and again. Her crimson eyes moved towards Emma, then to Shane. She was about to open her mouth wasn't she? Why couldn't she just keep quiet? "I'd pegged you as more positive than that, Emma. You're not one of those people that only speaks in sunshine and rainbows when it doesn't matter, are you?" Kusari got to her feet, and walked over to her. "And if you want to slap anyone, it should be our sociopath Director... Though that'll just get you shot I suppose." Kusari said, then taking a look at her dead former comrades for the first time. She didn't know them at all, so she'd be lying if she said she felt grief for them. But that didn't mean she didn't care. The chance to get to know them had been taken away, for her and for everyone else. It would be a bit much to say that they were all family now, but they were all in this together. "We should hold a service at the school for them. I doubt the school does much to remember us besides experimenting on our bodies and changing our status in some database to 'deceased.' We can't do much, but the one thing they can't stop us from doing is remembering them."
