Apologies for the double post, but I've managed to make a post with ten minutes to spare. I have a second part to the post planned, but it's more of a "[b]Meanwhile, On The Far End Of The Galaxy...[/b]" thing that mostly explains a throwaway comment, and so can wait until later on.
