Sure why not..... you actually did that O_O?
More than for Frenzy Plant, funnily enough.
The guild Pirate Lord, referred to as Aerial Ace, is actually a division of Frenzy Plant following the guilds' merger Orientation: Lawful Neutral Division Leader: Captain Salem Monroe Member Count: 33 Signature Weapon: the flintlock pistol. Everyone has one, usually kept hidden Background & History: Pirate Lord was founded by Salem Monroe, Belial Grimmond, and Sara Gallin. The three of them set loose a pair of greater demons that cursed them all. For Sara the curse was the worst it seemed. She was bound to the ship with no form, in other words she became the ship. Her magic, Archive, still functions and it is how she communicates to Salem, Bel, and the rest of the crew when needed. She keeps herself afloat or flying by augmenting the magic power that Salem and Bel feed the ship’s magic core. The augmenting that Sara does creates an energy field around the ship for defense and is part one of how she keeps the ship flying. Part two is Sara uses the air around the ship to push and move it as well keep it up in the air. Bel's magic power is is stored for some propulsion and the rest of it is stored for the magic canons fire power in case it is needed. Sara named her ship self The Devil’s Treasure. The three’s main objective is to hunt down the demon’s and put them back into their cursed chest or to destroy them once and for all. To best do that they hunt down magic treasure and artifacts to aid them, as well as pick up new members of the crew. Some years down the road they became a guild of sorts as more and more people grew to know them they took on more dangerous jobs and even other guilds. This led them around the world chasing their demons along the way, but never catching them just clues that they left behind. Following growing frustrations with the futility of its mission, Pirate Lord temporarily abandoned its mission to partake in the Grand Magic Games. Against all odds, it succeeded in landing a spot as one of the participating guilds, only to routinely occupy the bottom of the scoreboard along with Tough Love. Following the games, General Sanders of Frenzy Plant, one of the Games' top contenders, approached Pirate Lord with an offer: join them as a subordinate division, in return for fame, wealth, and the ability to fulfill their mission. The Captain agreed, and Pirate Lord became a subsidiary of Frenzy Plant as a division called 'Aerial Ace', though all of the former Pirate Lord members still refer to it by its old name. S-rank Wizard / Captain Salem Monroe – a stern leader, torn between duties to his underlings and ruminations on his past. Under the influence of a demon's curse, he gained the nightmarish power of a Storm Devilslayer, but a craving for feeding on others. Normally he can survive by sapping others' magical power, but if his desires go unsatisfied for too long, he can turn to cannibalism. He's a good man afflicted by festering greed and gluttony. The most brooding. Helm Sara Jones, the Devil's Treasure – the day that Sara and her two friends opened a bedeviled treasure chest marked the day that her life as a person ended and her life as a sentient ship began. From that day forward, life was nonstop adventure in one way or another, but the drastic change took its toll on Sara. Only at night, in dreams, could she leave her new existence behind. Though an airship, she constantly dreamed of the deep sea, where darkness and monstrosity collided to form the acutest nightmares. They changed her, eating away at what humanity she had left and muddling her mind with the mythos of piracy. Eventually, her allies discovered someone who could help: a young woman who'd been trained to exorcise spirits. When she tried to remove Sara from the ship, Sara awoke from her stupor and possessed the exorcist completely. So overpowering was her essence that the exorcist was completely changed, forcibly turned into an ideal vessel for Sara, the girl's mind suppressed. In this form, Sara cannot leave the ship, but she can warp around it and phase through its walls as if she were a spirit. She can also restore her consciousness to the ship to take direct control of it, during which time the mind of the girl she possessed awakens for a time in a body not her own. Instead of Archive Magic, she commands what she refers to as Deep Magic, which passively spawns sea-life aboard the ship and can be used to summon kraken tentacles out of the wood wherever she wishes. The one nobody wants to piss off. A-rank Wizard / Boatswain Blair Ravencroft – an upbeat sorceress whose Autumnal Spirit magic enables to her summon frightening creatures to fight for her. She nurses a crush on her captain, as well as virulent jealous for whoever might steal his affections. The sky is her element, and she's often seen soaring through it on her broom, but revelry of any kind, from holidays to festivals, make her heart soar even higher. Prone to indulgence, particularly in drink and sweets. The most bewitching. Merlina Fenix – unloved as a young girl, Merlina found solace and companionship with a mystical bird called a phoenix, and after her foster mother's passing, Merlina gained her volatile Emerald Phoenixslayer magic. Far older than she appears, she occasionally intersperses her gentleness with wisdom. Despite her rank, she will almost certainly crumble if forced to fight, and her unwillingness to act can be frustratingly obstructive. The slowest to anger. Belial Grimmond – another man cursed by demons and possessed by the idea of revenge against them. A pivotal individual in Pirate Lord's history, Belial tempers ferocious Fire Devilslayer magic with a curse of paralysis; the more he gets worked up, the less he can move. Though certainly capable of angry outbursts, he's a dull individual most of the time. The one who likes goggles the most. Malice Hardt – though stubborn, manipulative, vengeful, jealous, and cunning, Malice nevertheless keeps up an excellent facade of serene, ladylike elegance in her quest for winning no matter the cost. Her determination to reach the level of a Wizard Saint led her to wish for more power from Nero the Genie, and so gained Flesh Smithing Magic in addition to her own Bestial Manipulation and Requip magic. The one most obsessed with expanding her talents. Edo – a grizzled, blind old master who allegedly has a vendetta against demons. While primarily a swordsman -and a masterful combatant aboard the Devil's Treasure- he has been cultivating for some time a magic loosely referred to as 'Inner Eye' that he can use to tell him where he must go next. In his youth, the spirit of adventure flowed through him, and with his own crew he traveled around the world. Those days are, however, long gone. Even he doesn't know if he will succumb to the roar of time, or if his fire will be extinguished in the midst of one, final adventure. The grouchiest. Vanille Tressen – Pirate Lord's cannon chief. She's in charge of directing, timing, and firing of cannon barrages from the Devil's Treasure. Her magic is called 'Technologic', and with it she can make energy-based heavy projectile weapons to with which to bombard any enemy that crossed her line of sight. As her red eyes might imply, she's very mean-spirited, and enjoys to pick on others as much as she can for no reason more than petty amusement. That said, she enjoys the destruction of foes far more, and is steadfast in her duty. The worst about gun safety. Lilika, the Wraith of Eigenalle – refugee of a ruined land. She seeks to forget about her past, of the remote city-state drowned in darkness and lost to history. Generations of fencing skill flows through her veins, making her movements mechanical as she wields the rapier blade. The shadow of death hangs over her still, manifesting as a veil of grim shadow around her when she goes to battle. Wounds made by her blade turn necrotic with unnatural speed. Pirate Lord keeps her around as much to contain her as to profit from her help in its endeavors. The guild's worst buzz-killer. B-rank Wizard / Sailor Aurora Rovis – when asleep, this teenager's Dream Magic enables her to manipulate dreams or to spy on others over long distances, which provides a remarkable tactical advantage in certain situations. Aurora is also incredibly shy, predictable to a fault, naive, gullible, and submissive. Many would argue, and rightfully so, that the girl has no place in a war guild or pirate gang. The most like a cinnamon roll. Julian III – during the early escapades of Pirate Lord, the Magic Council dispatched a privateer to hunt the rogue guild down and bring it in for registration. Julian III captained that ship as a master sailor both at sea and in the sky, and with the fervor of one devoted to justice he pursued Pirate Lord for weeks. The chase came to an end in open combat, and Julian was horrified to find out that he'd underestimated the pirate's power. He and his crew were taken as prisoners, only to find the idea of 'imprisonment' aboard the Devil's Treasure remarkably lax. Over another few weeks he got to know the guild better, and when Pirate Lord did eventually report to the Council at his insistence, he decided to quit his job and join the guild instead. The spiffiest looker. Enigma – a stunningly beautiful woman that appeared one day amidst the members of Pirate Lord. Nobody can agree where she came from, why she came, or who exactly she is. Some connect her to the demons hunted by the guild; other believe her to be one. All agree, though on the bizarre effect of her magic: The Perfect World of Venus. Enigma projects a magical, reality-bending aura that makes the members of Pirate Lord more attractive over time. It even affects clothing and armor, increasing visual appeal in more ways than one. The health and equipment benefits that came alongside this, and the general morale boost that ensued, persuaded the captain to keep her around despite the ambiguity surrounding her. The most frequent maker of cryptic remarks. Carreau – a nobleman from a far-off land whose aristocratic family, determined to surpass the region's ruler, became involved in the affairs of vampires. Unfortunately, his parents failed to live up to their end of the bargain, and in the dead of night the vampires took them, transforming them into brainless, blood-crazed beasts with a nightmarish curse. So vile was this fell curse that it resonated through the bloodline, contaminating Carreau as well. Badly sickened, he fled the realm to Fiore, where he recovered in intensive care. Now cut off from his family's resources, he joined the first guild he could find, and discovered kindred spirits in two of its prominent members. As a well-learned noble scion, he is an excellent navigator, but his skill with a spiked swordblade is best not underestimated. The most likely to be caught licking his blade. MacBeth – the talented and widely-respected blacksmith of Pirate Lord, who not only manages to be an amazing fighter, but a wise old man to boot. Few can say for certain what he likes the best: to teach, or to show off. He's certainly not lacking in the ego department, but given his advanced age compared to his remarkable health and looks, it's safe to say he earned it. The first to give someone a pat on the back. Ansem Nocks – if every there was a man that the word 'renegade' described perfectly, it would be Ansem. Wielding his signature cleaver, he fights with reckless abandon. Actually, he does pretty much everything with reckless abandon. He's got very little emotional restraint, but as bothersome as he can be sometimes, he's a lot of fun to be around. His Star Magic allows him to coalesce shimmering motes of light into waves, slices, or projectiles. It can function to burn, illuminate, or blind as he pleases. The most glittery. Mari Gatlock – nobody in Pirate Lord has greater disdain for dirtiness, scrupulousness, and wretchedness than Ami. Being a member of a demihuman species bred in the past for war, she came from a background of abject poverty, and having lifted herself from those shackles by joining Pirate Lord she looks down on the scum of the earth in horror. Wielding an elaborate axe and clothed in a extravagant dress, she puts on the airs of a pompous aristocrat, even if her axe is far too heavy to be used properly or elegantly. The one with the most refined speech. Koriagi Ono – a former monk who joined Pirate Lord after growing fed-up with his monastery's asceticism. He wishes to make a name for himself, and to that end command scalding Water Magic to splash and burn his foes. His ability to create fresh water to drink is invaluable for long voyages, and despite his break with his past he does have a plethora of good advice to give to anyone who might listen. The least uptight. Ragani – a girl born to be a pirate. From the catlike swiftness and sureness of her movements to her lust for gold to her breathtakingly acrobatic 'dancing-sword' fighting style, anyone can tell that this life suits her perfectly. Moreover, Ragani sports a certain sensuality made evident in every action she takes, from the sway of her hips as she walks to a sultry flick of her hair. Many have fallen under her spell. The least demure. Crackshot Livvy – a longtime member of Pirate Lord, blessed by a trinket that granted her incredible luck (given by an always-smiling youth who called himself the Genie) and sought-after for her marksmanship with a revolver. Her unassuming, modest demeanor set the example for more than a few guild members. When Enigma joined Pirate Lord, however, her lucky break went wrong. Enigma's Perfet World of Venus reacted badly with Livvy's magic trinket, and while she did grow more attractive, the already-portly woman also grew fatter and fatter. While she remained an expert sharpshooter, her physical ability is so diminished as to make her almost useless in conventional fights. The only one to get stuck in doorways. Gunter – a hero from a northern island who, upon meeting Pirate Lord, pledged to give whatever it wanted if they would intervene in the civil war engulfing his land. Using the airship and the diverse fighting styles aboard, Pirate Lord accomplished the mission, and Salem asked for Gunter's help in his quest to hunt down and slay the demons. Loathe as he was to abandon his people, Hunter agreed, and he has since come to discover a fascination for the outside world. His Steel Skin magic toughens his defense to inhuman levels, preventing any foe from drawing his blood. The one who laughs too much at jokes. C-rank Wizard / Crew Elenora – a sailor who wields a crossbow. She is excessively deliberate in all that she does, be it walking, talking, or fighting. As such, she is unsuited for the from lines, but as a sniper she is lethally reliable. Her slow manner gives her an ethereal air, and even her ordinary movements, accentuated by her flowing hair and many accessories, can seem oddly hypnotic. The least likely to be in a rush. Eddie – a punkish, high-spirited young man with a flare for the dramatic. He behaves as if he's got a camera crew -or at least a couple fans- around him at all times. As devious prankster, there's no amount of effort he won't go to for a cheap laugh. A leaf-bladed short sword, wielded with gusto and great speed if not much talent, makes him decent in combat, but he shines best as a 'deck monkey', moving around the ship at high speeds to attend to whatever needs doing. The one with the best poses. Margrave – though a young man, Margrave's been through a lot. Student, gang member, prisoner, and now crewman—and all the time, he's endeavored to cultivate an image of absolute edginess. Be it exaggeration, poems dripping with angst, or an overdone monologue, Margrave has you covered. That said, he does back up some of his theatricality with not-insignificant dagger prowess. The only one to squat menacingly during guild meetings. Sofia Stahlbaum – an alluring practitioner of Vapor Magic, known for her revealing attire and coy attitude. While she acts like a total sweetheart, she is a narcissist on the inside, and has little regard for other people. In fact, her self-absorbed attitude has turned practically everyone away from her, though that suits her just fine—Pirate Lord's money is what she's after. The one who spends the longest looking in the mirror. Tarva – a brawny hunter who finds great joy in pursuing and taking down prey. He's not one much for killing people, unfortunately, but his talents as preparer of hide and cleaner of meat keep him useful; that, and there are few things aboard the Devil's Treasure that he can't lift. Interestingly, he's professed a desire to learn magic, and Answem recently agreed to teach him Star Magic. The most odorous. Viola Saxum – born into a family of ninja as the youngest of four daughters, Viola went through her childhood education and training as a kunoichi in her sisters' shadows. Strength, speed, cleverness, even looks...Viola lagged in last place in all accounts, even as she grew better and better with Shinobi magic. She left home as soon as she could, and found Pirate Lord. At first she didn't like it, but the magic of Enigma worked its effects on her, and one day Viola awoke to realize that she was more lovely than all of her sisters. Full of confidence, she redoubled her efforts for the guild. The most likely to strut her stuff. Bartholomew – an odd creature by all accounts, Bartholomew looks for all appearances to be a buff pug that knows kung-fu. While he's not good for much besides fist-fighting and various chores around the ship, Pirate Lord reveres him for his sense of humor, his innocent attitude, and the sheer ridiculousness that he embodies. The most pugnacious. Elio Scavantine – the perpetual surliness of this warrior, who fights like a westerner despite wielding a blade from the east, prevents pretty much anyone from connecting with him. In truth, he's forever on guard and forever worried, for the blade he wields is his own brother, transformed by a mystical mothlike beast years ago. Elio's goal is to find that beast and make her pay; in the meantime, he can find it in himself to join Pirate Lord's vendetta, as well. The one with the sourest grapes. Valter Blomqvist – Pirate Lord's savvy mechanic. As invaluable as he is to keeping the various mechanisms of the boat shipshape, he is a thoroughly eccentric individual. He talks not just in a strange accent, but using bizarre grammar. At times, he is downright kooky. Hailing from a port town on the northwestern edge of Fiore, he aspires to become an adviser and inventor for the royalty. His strange poleax is barely feasible as a weapon, no matter how strong the hand that wields it. Delphine – prior to joining Pirate Lord, this big city girl studied as a disciple of Gale Arimathea, a famous magician and meteorologist, on a mountainside far from home. There she met her eagle, and the two became inseparable. Though decently adept with wind magic, and extremely close to her vicious aerial companion, Delphine's contrary nature tends to piss off those around her. Still, she is ultimately good-intentioned, and while she might act tough to save face she is surprisingly genuine and conscientious in private. The most prone to wardrobe malfunction. Jinhai Liang – former privateer crew member beneath Julian III during his employ under the Magic Council. As a great marksman, he is widely respected throughout the guild, and many wonder why he doesn't move up a rank. He says that he remains C-rank in order to keep other Cs in their place. Indeed, his wry sense of humor, keen wit, and calm rationality in times of stress cause others to look to him as a leader (though more than a few girls look to him for other reasons). However, he washes his hands of leadership's excessive duties, leaving them for the higher-ups. The one who most likes being a big fish in a small pond. Xiaozhi Liang - former privateer crew member beneath Julian III during his employ under the Magic Council. Her training before taking that job led to her being a better shot than her brother, though she doesn't overtly hold it against him. With a fascination for puzzles and mindgames, and a quiet but well-developed ego, Xiaozhi hosts an image equal parts brilliance and smugness that, despite her being one of the most petite in the guild, makes her alluring to many. Structure, schedule, and discipline don't mesh well with her. The owner of the most intriguing smile.
