Cole is as much of a gentleman as he can afford to be, but because of his job as a hunter that in itself is something you have to work for.  He is very cautious around others because he knows that witches can be hiding anywhere, and he doesn't have a lot of trust in them because everyone talks about how 'bad witches' are.

[h3]History:[/h3]

Cole comes from a family of hunters, and so he is much more than a novice when it comes to this subject.  His family descends from a long line of witch hunters, when he was younger he would try to sneak as much time as he could to devote to witch hunting and learning how to fight alongside his father.  Cole became skilled at wielding the sword over all other weapons . . but he wanted to make it a twist.  And so he eventually specialized in using a broadsword/shield technique to deal with his foes.

Because his family does descend from the long line he was granted a family heirloom to aid him with his journeys in the outside world, the family sword.  Because the family sword is a broadsword in nature it wasn't the best weapon to block with, and this is why Cole also uses a shield to make up for the sword's lack of defense.  Regardless of this the sword itself is not a regular old sword.  The runes on the sword are a holy enchantment which was meant to add durability to the sword, and as a result of it. The blade of the sword itself is lined with silver so that it can deal extra burning damage to any unfortunate witch that gets cut by it.  Now Cole lives alone since he was able to afford his own home, but frequently he goes on journeys.

Things they look for in a partner:
Cole would look for someone who was not 'weak' in terms of will.  Because of the fact that the world is dangerous he wants his partner to have some sort of strength.  He is not judgemental in what type of 'strength' he prefers, whether it be physical strength or mental strength.  But at the same time he doesn't want a partner who's overwhelming, he wants someone who knows when it's best to be slightly more submissive and to be slightly more dominant in a sense.

And another thing, witches could totally hook up with Cole but of course you'd have to earn his trust.. oh forbidden love has its appeal.  I wouldn't mind it XD
