[COLOR=CC0099][INDENT][B][SUP][SUB][H3]C O N C E P T   A B S T R A C T:[/H3][/SUB][/SUP][/B][/INDENT][hr][/COLOR][INDENT][INDENT][i]I have always had this image of Charles Xavier in my head that maybe some where down the highway he and Erik wernt so different in their views, but where Magneto took things to a physical point Charles played the political scene. For this interpretation I really want to explore Professor X as a force that your not sure you can really trust, an uneasy ally or a person that you owe a favor to. In a nutshell I really want to explore more of the psychological thriller-esque of what Professor X and his X-Men could be.[/i][/indent][/indent]

[COLOR=CC0099][INDENT][B][SUP][SUB][H3]N O T E S:[/H3][/SUB][/SUP][/B][/INDENT][hr][/COLOR][INDENT][INDENT][i][hider=Timeline][COLOR=C71585][INDENT][B][SUP][SUB][H3]T I M E L I N E:[/H3][/SUB][/SUP][/B][/INDENT][hr][/COLOR][INDENT][INDENT][i][COLOR=CC0099][b]1 9 6 0:[/b][/COLOR] Charles Francis Xavier was born to Brian and Sharon Xavier in their ancestral home in North Salem, New York. Brian a successful scientist and professor at Harvard University while Sharon stayed home as a homemaker.

[COLOR=CC0099][b]1 9 6 5:[/b][/COLOR] Brian dies at the labs at the school. The widowed Sharon quickly marries Brian's partner and close friend Kurt Marko, and together with his son Cain move in to the Xavier family estate. Charles begins to manifest his telepathic abilities.

[COLOR=CC0099][b]1 9 7 6 - 1 9 7 8:[/b][/COLOR] Charles graduates Harvard University at the age of sixteen. Fight ensues between Charles, Cain and, step father Kurt result in Kurt's untimely death. No charges ever filed although Cain leaves the premises. Over the next two years Charles obtains P.H.d's in Genetics, Biophysics, Psychology, and Anthropology.

[COLOR=CC0099][b]1 9 8 0:[/b][/COLOR] Charles begins study on human mutation and discovers the gene responsible for the explosive growth in mutant's over the last decade. Labeled the "X-Gene" by partner and personal friend, Dr. Hank McCoy. Tensions grow strained between humans and their meta-human communities and Charles attempts to act as intermediary between them. For a time it appears that all is going well.

[COLOR=CC0099][b]1 9 8 9:[/b][/COLOR] While speaking at an event in Washington DC, Charles Xavier was shot by an unknown gunman. Charles was rushed to Georgetown University Hospital. Once stabilized the shooter was confirmed as Jason Stryker, son of Reverend William Stryker head of the Purifiers movement. Charles would be paralyzed from the waist down for the rest of his life.

[COLOR=CC0099][b]1 9 9 0:[/b][/COLOR] Charles secludes himself within his home for the better portion of the start of the year. His demeanor seemed to change as he began meeting with an old college acquaintance who he ever only referred to as Erik. After much counciling and deliberation, particularly from Dr. McCoy, Charles decides to open the Xavier Institute of Higher Learning to help the mutant youth learn to control their abilities as well as receive a quality education.

[COLOR=CC0099][b] 1 9 9 5:[/b][/COLOR] Charles becomes more politically active, more aggressive in his stand for mutant rights. Begins recruiting various "teacher's" from all walks of life with seemingly little to no background in teaching.

[COLOR=C71585][b]1 9 9 6 - 2 0 0 5:[/b][/COLOR] News of the school and it's founder fade into anonymity. As Charles and Hank McCoy continue their political crusade for mutant rights Charles personally goes out to recruit candidates for a special project that had been delicately named Cerebro. School receives government funding for the project for the foreseeable future.

[COLOR=CC0099][b]2 0 0 6 - C U R R E N T:[/b][/COLOR] With the continued decline in meta-human sentiments, the seemingly meteoric rise of the Justice League A.R.G.U.S. unveils the Young Justice Initiative creating a group of young meta-humans and the League releasing their own "Titans" upon humanity a mysterious group calling themselves X-MEN operating in secret to further the interests of mutant kind.
